- Update 0.51.2 - 23 July 2026
Hello everyone! It's been just over a month since the release of update 0.50.0, and during that time the game has received several smaller patches. The current version is now 0.51.2.Below is a brief overview of everything that has been fixed, improved, and added to the game. All of the changes listed below are already available in the game and were introduced in patches 0.50.1 through 0.51.2.FixesFixed an issue that could cause the player to partially lose control of the character. This usually resulted in the player no longer being able to interact with the environment. Various combinations of player actions could trigger this issue. The cause was a major overhaul of the character control system compared to the previous version. The new system provides much better control over the character's various states from the developer's side. However, it also meant that situations which previously…
- Update 0.50.0 - 11 June 2026
Hello everyone!Update 0.50.0 is now available. As usual, below you can find the most important and noticeable changes included in this new version of the game.Important:The story timeline has been shifted forward by approximately 10 years. As a result, many dates throughout the game have been updated. This is not a bug, but part of the revised lore.To access the new playable area, players who have already completed the Residential Floor must open the safe in Room 204 (Ealish's apartment) once again.Inside, you will find a keycard required to continue the story. To open the safe, you need to find out Ealish's date of birth. The clue is her birthday card, which you have most likely already found earlier. Check the date written on it carefully.Ealish's date of birth is the password to the safe.New Area: Research FloorA new playable floor has been added, continuing Ealish's story.Laboratory W…
- Update 0.50.0+ Releases on June 11 - 5 June 2026
Hello everyone!I'm finally able to announce the release date of the next major update and break the silence that's lasted a little too long.Three busy months of development are now behind us, and in less than a week, on June 11, the new update will be available to all players. To be honest, the release was postponed several times. Each time there were new things that I wanted to polish, fix, or improve. But at some point, you have to draw the line and release the update. So I've decided not to delay it any further. You may still encounter a few rough edges after launch, and I hope you'll understand. As with previous major updates, the release will be followed by a series of smaller patches focused on fixing issues and improving the game based on your feedback. Now, let's take a quick look at what you can expect from the update.Research FloorThis is a brand-new area consisting of three subz…
- Update 0.44.0 - 18 February 2026
Hello everyone. While I continue working on the next zone, I’ve prepared a small update dedicated to the Lunar New Year and a number of QoL improvements. Below are the most notable changes.A new outfit for Ealish has been added in celebration of the Lunar New Year.Originally, a more complex costume with a new hairstyle and additional details was planned. However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, we were unable to complete it in time. The full version of the outfit will most likely be added in the next update. As a small bonus, a themed swimsuit with Asian-inspired elements has been added to the game. The magazine related to this outfit can be found in Room 104 on the Residential Floor.A new wakizashi-inspired knife has also been added in celebration of the holiday. It can be obtained in the Gallery Storage on the Residential Floor as a reward for completing the level.BalanceIn one…
- Update 0.43.0 - 22 December 2025
Hello everyone! Over the past two months, a lot of work has been done. As usual, below I’ll try to highlight the most significant and interesting changes.IMPORTANTDue to the reorganization of the Residential Area, and especially Ealish’s room, the character save and load system has been improved. Because of this, the first time you load any of your saves, Ealish will appear at the beginning of the game near the incubator. All your progress is fully preserved. Simply save again in any slot, and from that point on the save will load at the exact location where you left off.Residential AreaThe Residential Area has received major changes. Some locations have been reworked, with employee rooms being the most affected. These rooms were optimized to better match the environment and the game’s story.New connecting corridors have been added to make movement between areas more logical and convenie…
- Update 0.41.9 - 7 November 2025
Hello everyone,Lunar Eclipse is now available in another language: German. Don’t worry, more languages will be added over time — so stay tuned.New Language — GermanAdded a full German translation to the game. More localizations will be coming in the future.Brightness (DX11)For players using DX11, the default brightness level has been slightly increased for better visibility in darker areas.Energy Consumption – Frame Rate Fix Previously, stamina consumption depended on the frame rate. Because of this, if you played at 100+ FPS, stamina drained much faster than intended. It seems this issue has been around since the Early Access release, but I discovered it only recently — by accident, during a conversation with one of the players. Now, stamina consumption is stable across all frame rates. For reference, a full stamina bar should take about 33 seconds to deplete while running continuously.…
- Update 0.41.5 - 4 November 2025
Hello everyone.Over the past week, I’ve made several improvements related to the overall gameplay experience. Let’s go over the changes.Items are now highlighted when the player is within a certain distance, making it easier to notice which objects can be interacted with. Some players mentioned that finding items in the game wasn’t always convenient. After gathering some feedback and watching a few playthroughs, I improved the item pickup system. Now Ealish “examines” items from a short distance, and if an object can be interacted with, an additional marker will appear once the player gets close enough.Character rotation during attacks has been implemented — now Ealish slightly turns toward the direction of the player’s camera when performing melee attacks. The maximum correction per hit is limited to 10 degrees, making close-combat movement feel a bit more natural. In the previous patch,…
- Update 0.41.4 - 31 October 2025
Hey everyone! While I’m continuing to work on improvements after the last update, some of them have already been added to the game:Fixed clipping between certain clothing elements.Fixed a bug that allowed players to duplicate an item in the inventory.Corrected a few spelling errors on in-game textures.Fixed an issue where the player could interact with some objects through walls.Fixed a problem where the game appeared too dark when running on DX11 instead of DX12.It’s important to understand that Lunar Eclipse was originally developed and optimized for DX12. DX11 support remains as a legacy compatibility option. You can still use it to improve performance on lower-end systems, but it doesn’t deliver the same visual quality or feature set as DX12In the previous update, there was a mistake on my side that caused the image to appear significantly darker when running on DX11. This issue has…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.41.0 - 29 October 2025
Hey everyone! This one took a while — and honestly, it’s the biggest update since the Early Access release. I’ve been working on it quietly for the past few months, taking time to fix, polish, and add things that really make the game feel better overall. Thanks a lot for your patience and for sticking with me through all this. I really appreciate it.Important notice about save filesAfter updating to version 0.40.0, save files from previous versions will no longer be compatible with the updated game.I’m really sorry for the inconvenience and hope for your understanding. Since the game is still in Early Access, some rough transitions like this can occasionally happen during development.New Area: Residential FloorThis update finally opens the Residential Floor — a new part of the underground complex with abandoned living quarters, a kitchen, and maintenance corridors. Depending on how much y…

Hello everyone!I’m happy to let you know that the new update 0.40.0+ will be available on Steam starting October 29th.With the help of the community - for which I’m really grateful - I’ve been testing and polishing everything as much as possible: fixing issues, adding improvements, and including the Japanese translation so you can enjoy the game with fewer problems. All additional information and the full patch notes will be published on October 29th as well. That post will also include all the fixes and tweaks made during the polishing phase of version 0.40.0+.Important notice about save filesAfter updating to version 0.40.0, save files from previous versions will no longer be compatible with the updated game.I’m really sorry for the inconvenience and hope for your understanding. Since the game is still in Early Access, some rough transitions like this can occasionally happen during dev…
- Update 0.4 Preview - 1 October 2025
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since the last update, and I know things have been a bit quiet here. The main reason is that I’m still learning how to handle deadlines as a mostly solo developer. Every time I try to set a date, something unexpected pops up. That’s why after the EA release I decided not to rush with promises. But don’t worry - I’m working on Lunar Eclipse every single day, and the game keeps getting better step by step. Right now, my plan is to release the next update around the end of October. It’s still an estimate, so a small delay (like a week or so) is possible, but that’s the target. Here’s what you can look forward to in this update:New Area: Residential Floor – about 2 hours of gameplay (depending on how you approach puzzles).3 New Outfits with 11 unique clothing pieces and extra variations (Evening Dress, Bikini, Swimsuit).New Clothing Types – Pantyhose and Neck Ac…
- Important Notice – Bug Report (Fixed) - 16 June 2025
Hey everyone,After Patch 0.38, a few players have reported a bug related to the wardrobe in Ealish's room.⚠️ Important: Please avoid re-saving your current save file for now, as it may cause the wardrobe data to be permanently overwritten. For example, if you loaded the game from slot 2, try not to overwrite it for now — the correct data about your stored items is still there, just not currently visible in-game.The issue: Items that were previously stored in the wardrobe in Ealish's room have been replaced with the default set — specifically, the 4 pieces of Uniform E-1. This happened because I updated the item initialization system in 0.38 to support dynamic inventory resizing (like expanding or shrinking storage space). Unfortunately, this unintentionally caused some inventory data to reset.I’m already looking into the issue and will try to have it fixed later today.Really sorry for t…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.38 - 15 June 2025
Hi everyone!Today I’m sharing a small update while you’re waiting for the next area to arrive. It includes some new outfits, a few fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.New ContentAdded two new outfits: School Sports Uniform and School Swimsuit. In total, this update adds 11 new clothing items, including multiple color variations.A new magazine has been placed in the Basement Save Room. Since players often find it earlier than the one in the locker, the sewing tutorial has also been moved there to better match the progression.Fixes & ImprovementsFixed an issue where the character could stand up and attack from a crouching position even when there wasn’t enough space. This should no longer occur.Added a few short voice lines to notify you when Ealish can’t stand or attack due to low ceilings or tight spaces.Fixed an item duplication exploit that could occur when using "Place / Store" wh…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.37.6 - 6 June 2025
Hello everyone! While I’ve been quietly releasing small updates here and there, I wanted to share a dedicated announcement for this one — because Lunar Eclipse now supports Cloud Saves! This update also includes a few important fixes and improvements:Fixed a bug where crouching speed matched walking speed.Fixed an issue where stamina could get stuck, requiring extra button presses to recover.Improved the loading process — this should reduce cases where the game crashes when starting a new game for the first time.At the moment, I’m working on a new outfit and progress on the third area continues. The outfit will be released next week as part of a small update to bring a bit more content while I continue building the next big story section. Thanks so much for your support — you’ve been an awesome community!
- Lunar Eclipse has launched in Early Access! - 4 June 2025
Hello everyone! Today marks a huge step forward — both for me as a developer, and for you, the incredible community behind Lunar Eclipse. It’s been a long road since I first started working on this project — and an even longer one since I first dreamed of making my own game. The very first prototype of Lunar Eclipse was created more than five years ago. Back then, as a 3D artist, I knew almost nothing about development or programming. I could barely use Unreal Engine. A lot has happened since then. For a while, the project was shelved, waiting for a better moment. That moment finally came last year, when I decided to bring it back — this time, doing it all on my own. I believed that if I started showing something to the world, someone might believe in it, too. From that point on, I wasn’t just creating 3D assets anymore — I started learning programming, game design, and all the technica…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.37.4 - 3 June 2025
Hello everyone! Since there’s only one day left until the Early Access launch, I decided to improve the build tracking system as early as possible. Over time, I noticed that without proper version tracking, many players could get confused when loading old save files in newer versions of the game. This can lead to bugs and glitches, and it became clear that a better system was necessary to prevent issues like these in the future. How this affects you: All save files created before update 0.37.4 will now be marked as "Unknown." This means that to ensure proper game tracking, you’ll need to start a new game from scratch. I really didn’t want to make such a radical change, but unfortunately, it became necessary. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience. That said, I believe it was better to introduce this now rather than face even worse confusion down the road. What you should know: Depending…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.37 - 30 May 2025
Hey everyone! Today I’m excited to finally share a feature a lot of you have been asking for — full gamepad support is now live in Lunar Eclipse! It took me about 25 full days (yes, weekends included) to make it all work properly — from rewriting UI interactions to updating every single menu. There's still a few rough edges here and there, so thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. I’ll keep polishing things in the upcoming updates! Let’s dive into what’s new: Gamepad Support — it’s here! Full native support for Xbox controllers has been added. Thanks to Steam Input, PlayStation controllers (and probably others too!) should work automatically, even though they aren’t officially supported yet. ⚠️ Heads-up: If you run the game outside of Steam, only Xbox controllers will work by default. For other controllers, you’ll need third-party software. Right now there’s only Xbox-st…
- Lunar Eclipse - Coming to Early Access on June 4! - 23 May 2025
Hello everyone! I’m excited to finally announce that Lunar Eclipse will launch in Early Access on June 4, 2025, on Steam! This is a huge milestone, and I’m incredibly thankful for all your support, feedback, and kind words since the demo release. The Early Access version includes new content, improvements, and fixes - many of which were directly influenced by the community. Here’s a quick recap of some of the most interesting additions since the first demo: New Area: The Basement Explore a completely new location with fresh puzzles, additional exploration zones, new collectibles, and more intense zombie encounters. New Outfit: Casual Set In the basement, you can find a new craftable outfit consisting of a sweater, jeans, boots, and underwear. To craft it, you’ll need to gather materials dropped from enemies - so be ready to fight and scavenge. Outfit Crafting System You can now craft ou…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.36 - 22 May 2025
Hello everyone! While working on gamepad support and reworking parts of the UI - particularly the graphics settings menu - I introduced a few bugs that affected how graphical settings were initialized, especially for players without existing save data. This issue caused incorrect defaults to be applied to options like Resolution Scale, Screen Resolution, and other general graphics settings (such as Shadow Quality, Post-Processing Quality, Reflection Quality, etc.). The issue is now fixed, and everything should initialize correctly. You can continue playing normally. Please note: Some parts of the UI might still look a bit clunky when using a gamepad. This is a temporary situation. Once gamepad support is fully finished (hopefully before the Early Access launch), I’ll make a separate announcement dedicated to the new gamepad features, including the reworked crafting menu. That’s all for…
- Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.35 - 18 May 2025
Hello everyone! Today’s update is a relatively small one, but still meaningful. Just to give you a bit of context - I’m currently working hard on preparing the game for Early Access next month, which means lots of things are happening behind the scenes. Despite the workload, I’ve managed to push a few updates: new language support and the first steps toward full gamepad support. Let's go over everything! Localization Ukrainian language has been added - this one is especially close to me, and I’m very happy to finally include it. Simplified Chinese is now also supported - if you're playing in this language, feel free to let me know if anything looks off or needs adjusting! And of course, if you'd like to see the game in other languages, don't hesitate to leave a comment. If there's enough interest, I'll be happy to add more localizations to my to-do list. Save System Added 4 additional s…
