LORTers,We just released a small update to fix some localized text. If you get a version mismatch when playing with others, please make sure to update your game to latest. You can force a Steam update by going to LORT in your library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of Game Files. We've found a few issues and adjustments we want to make quickly after Tuesday's update.Here are the things we are updating in this small patch:Adjusted enemy spawns for Sportsball and Deadline Demon.We've seen feedback that these Quests are too slow at the beginning. We've adjusted them so they are more interesting to play at the start of these Quests.Fixed Ronin Around and Big Sword Energy challenges incorrectly granting the LORTgrinder: Croak Steam achievement.These challenges previously were unlocking their correct in-game rewards and will now grant the correct corresponding achievement. LORTers,The massive 💥Shots and Prayers🙏 Update is now available to play. Plus, LORT is on sale for 35% off until August 25. This post will go into detail on the many additions and changes to the game. - v0.7.2 Update - Network Connectivity and Normal Difficulty - 31 March 2026
LORTers,The Spring Sale brought a wave of new players to LORT - and with them, a lot of great feedback. We have released an update today to address feedback and a networking issue. Increased attribute spawn ratio in camps on Normal difficulty to provide more attribute upgrades vs powerups.We've heard the feedback on difficulty and scaling and know we have more work to do. While we are working for bigger fixes in the upcoming v0.8 update, this change reverts to the attribute availability that was in v0.6 and should allow players to gain more power, more often, and take on enemies easier. When in doubt, get more attributes to out scale your enemies. Fix network disconnections by reverting networking bandwidth increases that were introduced in v0.7. LORT is a player hosted game. LORTers,Thanks for everyone who has already jumped into the v0.7 update and reported bugs for us to fix. This is a small update to fix issues we have found since yesterday. Special shoutout to TyDragon on Discord.gg/LORT and TheDemi420 + Whymsical on Steam Discussions for reporting these issues. Fixed camp Attribute shards sometimes having very delayed spawning under poor network conditions with high player counts. Fixed the Chapel of the Broken Oath snapping poorly into the terrain making the doorway unusable. A LORT a day keeps the Doctor away.

LORTers,It's time for a little preview of what is coming in next week's update. After releasing The Stabbening last month, the team has been working quickly to bring to you Difficulties. We knew when we released LORT that the one sized fits all approach to difficulty was not a long term solution. Since launch, we heard a lot of player feedback regarding difficulty so we made it a priority to release a first version as quickly as we could. Here is what you will see when you start a run in LORT once the update is out on March 16: EasyUnlocked by default, Easy is a more relaxed LORT experience. Easy is meant to be more welcoming to new players while also being a chiller LORT experience for you to learn different biomes, enemies, and build combos without being too stressed. How now brown cow? LORT on NVIDIA Geforce NOW of course! Yea that's right, you can play some good ol' LORT via GeForce NOW cloud streaming right now. Can we say now any more times?We've heard some requests from LORTers to get the game up on GeForce NOW, so we worked with the folks over at NVIDIA to make the dream come true. LORT is now a "Ready-to-Play" game which you can access from the free or paid tiers as long as you own the game on Steam. If you don't know about Geforce NOW, it's an NVIDIA service that let's you play games from your Steam account via cloud streaming. You can learn more here. We hope this unlocks more LORTers to join in the LORTing everyone is doing.

Fam. We did it. 250,000 copies of our LORTy game LORT have been sold after launching on January 21.It really feels surreal to be writing this post. We are super grateful. And we are super excited. We didn't think people would want to group up and play with randoms as much as we have seen and heard.
