• 1.2.4 - New black and white mode - 16 March 2026

  There's a few minor fixes to story logic in the build, but the new feature is a "black and white" mode, so you can play in true 1920s colour. (Okay, it's not actually black and white, its desaturated, but still.) Enjoy!

• 1.2.3 - Minor patches - 29 December 2025

  The amount of ways events can go in Expelled! is colossal - so thanks to players who have reported on a few very curious edge cases, fixed in this update. Verity can now go around knocking people out with confidence, knowing they definitely won't start speaking again a moment later.By the way, if you're enjoying Expelled! and want to support us to continue to develop interactive stories that go all over the map, you might want to check out our new game, out in January. It's... different.

• The next game from Heaven's Vault studio Inkle is about a 1920s school for girls - 15 June 2024

  Inkle's next game seems to be set in, or focused on, a boarding school for young girls in 1922. The tenatively-named Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls doesn't have many details yet but it's what they're working on after releasing A Highland Song late last year. The short descriptions available so far focus on a setting in an old nunnery, and details in the background of images seem to imply that there'll be some foul play—you know, like someone falling off a tall tower...
