• Patch 1.1.0 – Steam Workshop Update - 22 February 2025

  Hello everyone! We've been really impressed to see user-made puzzles in our community, and we wanted to add Steam Workshop support to make it easier to share your creations to more players. This update adds a new "User Levels" menu, where you can play uploaded levels and campaigns from the Workshop, directly from the game! You can also upload your own creations easily, all you need to do is to right click a level or campaign from the in-game file browser and select "Upload to Workshop". We're really excited to see what you will make!   We're really happy to see that some people have already used the editor, I recommend checking out some great user puzzles in our Discord! Editor improvements The editor used to display unsure cells as "multiple solutions", but this behavior was pretty confusing. Now only cells that are proven to have multiple solutions are highlighted. If the editor is unable to prove that there is only single solution, but cannot find multiple solutions, it will display a "?" icon.   Small patch with a few fixes aimed at user levels and some minor issues. Thank you again to everyone who's been playing, it's been great to see people enjoy the game! Changelist Added a Discord button to the main menu. The check button tutorial now appears only if needed, instead of at the start of the puzzle. Fixed long campaign names overlapping with the complete checkmark. Renamed old named "Faucet" into "Breezy" and "One Two Three" into "Easy as 1-2-3". Editor play mode graphics have been adjusted.

  We are super happy with our launch and are so glad to see so many players and reviews already, thank you all so much! Based on feedback and observations from players, we identified some issues that we thought were important enough to fix right after launch. These updates are now available in patch 1.0.10! • Demo – Hard Winter - 19 October 2024

  We have seen that the demo might have been a bit easy for some players, but we also see many people who can barely finish the demo. This led us to wonder how we could give players with potentially previous Nurikabe experience a taste of harder and bigger levels, without being too discouraging for newcomers. Our current solution is a bit of an odd one, but you can access four extra hard levels by clicking the "User Levels" button 5 times in a row! Keep in mind that these levels are from varying points of the game, and the difficulty ramps up quite fast compared to the full game, where you can improve at your own pace.
