Mount Your Friends - the cult indie hit featuring raucous, physics-based tower building and aggressively pendulous genitals - is making the leap from 2D to 3D on February 23rd, developer Stegersaurus has revealed. The original Mount Your Friends invited players to clamber up their fellow scantily clad bodybuilder pals to reach as high as they could - sometimes solo, often with friends, and always on the back of a goat. Unifying the whole homoerotic extravaganza was a wilfully awkward control scheme in which climbers were forced to clumsily drag themselves upward one appendage at a time. Oh, and did I mention the hypnotically carefree wangs? The newly dated Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb - to give the game its full, awesome name - offers more of the same knockabout multiplayer action. - Mount Your Friends 3D swings out on Feb 23rd - 9 February 2018
The original Mount Your Friends is a thing of beauty. It has a bunch of modes, but in its purist form it’s a multiplayer game about getting near naked dudes to climb on top of your friends near naked dudes. Fail to clamber up to the top of the growing flesh mountain in 60 seconds and you’re out, usually to the sound of your mates shouting “waheeeey” as a misplaced swing sends you tumbling down to the bottom. The schlongalicious stack’em up has cast off the chains inherent to a mere two dimensions, and is embracing a full three with its sequel. Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb (good grief) is out on Feb 23rd, and there’s a trailer below. 3D mounting looks like fun, though now I’m wondering what version of Mount Your Friends higher dimensional entities are playing. Hello Mount Your Friends Fans! I’ve been so happy that Mount Your Friends was such a well received game and am thankful to all the great people who have been able to play and share the game with others! I hope everyone’s ready to start mounting again…because the new and improved “Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb” is coming to Steam on February 23rd and can currently be Wishlisted/Followed. I’ve been working on this for a long time to make sure that the 3D version of the game offered something new and interesting to fans of the original. It has a ton of new modes, a drastically improved matchmaking and lobby system, and the ability to share custom faces/photos automatically between friends! It's as if Daniel Steger, the designer of Mount Your Friends, saw those overly snug underpants in PUBG and said, "Hold my beer." Mount Your Friends, released in 2014, was a gleefully silly multiplayer game about muscular pinheads clambering over each other in speedos with their physics-enabled wangs wobbling about. It's just had a sequel announced, called Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb. It looks every bit as ridiculous and, yes, it still has huge flappy wiggling dongs in it. According to the trailer it's coming to Steam in 2018. Can't wait.

Thanks everyone who has been enjoying Mount Your Friends! All the custom outfits, online matches, and general sillyness has been great. Today comes the release of version Tu.Tu, which brings with it more variety for your online matches! Two new Levels/Modes have been introduced that will have new strategies in competitive play, as well as new spawn options so that the Storm environment doesn't have to be the most unfair setting ever. Lobbies also now have a soundboard-style chat system so you can be more coordinated with your fellow mounters! I hope everyone tries these new additions and takes advantage of having yet another excuse to get mounting!
