  Dear community, we have been working on Obergenie for over a year now. My vision has grown more and more and that wasn't a problem as long as there was money available. But now the investor has backed out and the game is still a big construction site. But in order to release the game in the foreseeable future and as polished as possible, there was really only one option: shorten it. Or as the old and wise saying goes: Kill your darlings. Many of the cool features that we had fun with on countless test evenings have been dropped. The multiplayer, the user puzzle editor and, of course, the story mode. But no thorns without roses: all the features have a chance to return. But then highly polished and better than they ever were. But until then, Obergenie will be a small, conceptually pure puzzle game. I'm sorry for all those who were looking forward to the multiplayer part, but postponed is…

  We've given the demo a little facelift! You can now test the following: fixed issue where mode unlocks and currency gained from quests would only be displayed after re-entering the main menu fixed issue where gold gained from quests would not count towards the achievements you should now always be brought directly to the quest tab when completing a quest challenge or the tutorial added the option to buy more keys from the chest screen, instead of having to return to the main menu every time fixed some dialogue issues - mainly indie stealing some of whaly’s lines
