  Hi everyone, Dei here! I'm excited to announce that the Arcade Mode for the Bousy demo is finally here, just in time to celebrate my participation in Steam Next Fest! It’s been a tough journey to get to this point, I had to make major changes to improve optimization and gameplay. For this update (Demo 1.4), here’s a general list of changes, additions, and fixes: Arcade Mode added: New player hiding mechanics. Arcade Mode added: New mechanic for finding hidden objects with the candle. Textures and lighting optimized and improved. Shadows and volumetrics are now softer and have better resolution (for higher specs). Nanite meshes removed for most assets, I’m sticking with the typical LOD setup. DLSS and FSR added (still needs work for better functionality). Camera position adjusted to avoid common clipping issues. New and replaced assets with better optimization. Loading times reduced for…

• Demo release!!! - 7 December 2024

  Hi everyone, this is Dei. ːsteammockingː I'm very happy to tell you that the CPA: Report Bousy demo is finally available. I know the announcement was made a bit late after the actual release, but it was important for me to take a break, finish some "art" for the actual game, and take some time to sit down and watch some people play it. In these past 3 days, I've already fixed only 2 bugs. For now, I'm glad to see that taking a lot of time to fix bugs and optimize before the release was well rewarded. So, what's next? Well, I'll try to take a break over the weekend and then start working on fixing and adding some new stuff for the demo. Then, I'll continue finishing the "arcade" mode to have another option for you guys to have fun :) I really appreciate all the nice comments, wishes, and criticisms right now.   I'm happy to announce that the base Steam page is done! also, the app was already accepted for testing. From now on, I will continue posting information about the dev process, updating the information about the game, and its mechanics, redesigning all the art for the game, and posting more clues and curious info about CPA: 219 (Bousy).
