• Asset Retirement - 30 July 2026

  Thank you to everyone who supported these projects over the years.I've decided to retire my Steam products as I can no longer maintain them. My focus is shifting from language software toward cultural work, and it feels like the right time to close this chapter.Thank you again for being part of the journey.

• Quality Control Check – Mid July 2024 - 15 July 2024

  Have gone through and fixed SEVERAL areas that were missing zoom points. Also added some zoom spots to the corners which should make navigating and using showrooms easier. Phrases – I split the phrases into two showrooms. The editor was giving me an error when untoggling/toggling the bottom three showrooms so I flipped the cues on by default. Now that I've viewed it on steam though it's okay and will switch it back off during next update. The toggle still functions as it should though! Community Section and Screenshots I’ve done my first pass through on the screenshots and have made them public in the Community -> Screenshots section. Don’t be shy to downvote if you see a translation or depiction that could be better or should be fixed. I will eventually go in and add captions to them (so you can search for dog or cat and all pictures and translations with those animals will populate in…

• Major Update – English Cues and Showrooms - 7 July 2024

  **NEW: Effective immediately, all ENGLISH hints will be hidden by default and can be toggled off/on via the HUD. This will allow learners to quiz themselves and not rely solely on the English cues for assistance, but wanted to leave the option in there so they can double check their guess. Showrooms Additions (Go easy on me, I grouped as best I could!) Nouns – This showroom contains nouns taken from the Haida Dictionary. In general, you can go clockwise around this room and it will have all nouns in alphabetical order (Haida Alphabet). Animal Life – This showroom includes a majority of the mammals listed in the Haida Dictionary. Note that I did run out of space for Birds and Bugs, but those can be accessed directly via the glossary anyhow.   A little pre-weekend update for the Haida learners. Added two showrooms as another way to explore and play with the language. There is A LOT in just these two showrooms. SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE: You can help signpost for future generations and help those that don't have good computers to run the software by simply PRESSING F12 and take as many screenshots as you can. • Lexical Glossary Update - 29 June 2024

  I've added the first draft of lexical entries to the glossary now. This will be ideal for Linguists - This provides more dataview options and is a categorized view of all the entries in the H ALPH tab. Allowing you to play with the data views of the word bank. Educators / Curriculum Designers - I thought this update might help you out most of all as it will allow you to explore specific subcategories. Artists - If I am making a children's book on body parts I can now just go view that section in glossary vs. just using the H ALPH tab. Learners - One of the main goals of these programs is to provide multiple ways to pick up the languages and play with them. By exploring these categories it will help familiarize yourself the Haida language and (hopefully) help get you through that rote memorization step. • Phrases - Showroom Update - 24 June 2024

  Wanting to share my updated changes to the PHRASES showroom as it's updated from the early access build to a filled out showroom. Taking my time with these next sets of updates to give my hand a rest and not get carpal tunnel, but only real short term goal at this point is to put the lexical categories in the glossary and MAYBE create additional showrooms as needed. As it stands, it functions as a standalone application now and can be released from early access if no audio cues will be added.
