Heatwave is a 2d fighting game and visual novel , set many years after apocalyptic heatwaves have made most of the Earth uninhabitable. Now, humanity is split between Earth, the Moon, and the Underworld... Take control of 15+ unique fighters in classic game modes, such as Arcade, Survival, Local Vs, Combo Trial, and more! Then, discover their stories through a 42 chapter visual novel story mode! Choose between 3 unique fighting styles, which drastically change how the game plays! Speed Mode: A fast, movement and combo based fighting mode, geared towards beginners. Power Mode: Limited movement and cancels, but a stronger parry, higher damage, and special overdrive state to compensate. Team Mode: Instead of an assist, pick a second character to fight alongside, and gain access to powerful setups and pressure by switching places with them.
