• Power Up With Pride! - 5 June 2026

  Greetings, adventurers -- Clarissa here! Power Up With Pride 2026, a charity speedrun marathon supporting Point of Pride, is ongoing now, and we're thrilled to be a part of it! I'll be on the couch on Sunday as speedruns Enigma Heart's demo! In what's hopefully the last update before Steam Next Fest (barring any bugs -- knock on wood!), we have a handful of small improvements, and one rather significant one:The Little Stuff (but just as important)Fixed a bug where, while in a dungeon that has a map (in the case of the demo, Danab Palace and Brygate Grain Mill), if you load a saved game that's in that same dungeon, the dungeon map system got reset, making the game think that there's no map for the current dungeon. Selecting "Map" from the pause/magic menu would then show you the overworld instead.A conversation with Hilda during the Penny quest that triggers automatically if you go to the Purple Labrys first, wasn't skippable. It can now be skipped with a button press, like any other NPC conversation.Fixed a bug relating to player placement after a New Game or Continue following a very s…

  Greetings, adventurers!Clarissa here. We proud to announce another update to Enigma Heart's demo, available now! We've received some wonderful feedback from demo players, and have incorporated quite a bit of it.UI/Quality of Life:One of the biggest changes is the UI screen shown above. Previously, there was no way to review which skills you've learned and which ones you had yet to learn, except when picking a new one during a level up! The new "Skills" screen, available directly from the main menu, fixes that.When interacting in towns, signposts no longer take precedence over NPCs. If there's a villager nearby, and you press "Talk", you'll talk to that person, even if you're standing directly on top of a sign. That's the way it should have always been. :)Both the post-boss fight lore dump cutscene and the end-of-demo epilogue now advance their text by a user button press, rather than by…

Thank you so much to everybody who's played -- and is still playing -- Enigma Heart's demo so far. • 1,000 Wishlists! - 13 February 2026

  Hello, adventurers! Clarissa, lead dev of Enigma Heart, here. Yesterday, we crossed 1,000 wishlists! That means quite a lot to us. Each wishlist represents someone who saw something in this project that resonated with them, and felt it was worth keeping an eye on. That's huge. Thank you. 💜️When I began work on Enigma Heart back in 2024, it was just a rough prototype: a between-projects experiment, really, to see if I could take a cult-favorite formula (from basically my favorite game of all time), flesh it out, modernize it, and add themes and a story that meant something to me. Obviously, something clicked along the way and it became much more than an experiment.
