Moving On follows Addison, a high school graduate, as they help their recently-deceased mother move on to the Spirit World. In this 2D visual narrative and platformer, Addison must explore and find special objects while being confronted with a journey of grief. Experience Addison’s story as they learn to process their emotions and move on from the death of a loved one. PLATFORMER AND VISUAL NARRATIVE Addison must traverse a range of environments as they jump across different landscapes, solve puzzles, and interact with locals in hopes of finding these “special objects.” A STORY OF GRIEF AND HEALING Addison must face areas that are associated with different emotions and feelings, such as Depression, Independence, and Anger. Will Addison be able to come to acceptance over their mom’s passing? Will Addison’s mom be able to move on with no regrets?
