  Greetings citizens and fellow architects!As the year is coming to a close I just wanted to share a quick update on the development of the game. Over the last months we have been reworking a lot of our gameplay systems. We are also putting the finishing touches to a brand new UI for our construction system. Since designing buildings is central to the gameplay of The New Rome, we wanted an interface that makes every part of your project easy to understand and configure. The new UI presents your building’s components with clear visual tiles and recognisable icons, making it simpler to explore different design options.   Hey everyone! Welcome to the first dev diary for The New Rome! We’re creating a unique experience where you’ll help shape a thriving Roman city by constructing timeless monuments. As you know, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is The New Rome! Right now, we’re hard at work implementing the construction system. Since you’ll play as an architect, the construction feature is at the heart of the game. Our goal is to give you as much freedom as possible to customize your building projects according to your aesthetic and strategic choices.
