  • Gamepad Support Is Here 🎮 - 1 March 2026

Hello!I’m happy to share a big update - \Fix This House\ now has full gamepad support 🎉 And it’s powered by the \Steam Input API\, which means the game supports \over 200 different controllers\!You can play using Xbox, PlayStation, Steam Controller, Steam Deck, and many other devices - Steam will automatically handle the configuration for you. And if you’d like to tweak things, you can easily \remap all buttons directly in the Steam Overlay\, under the Controller section. Here is a few new gameplay videos showing how the game feels when played with a controller 👀My goal was to make gamepad controls feel soft, intuitive, and just as relaxing as playing with a mouse. I truly hope it adds even more comfort and coziness to your building experience 💛Thank you for playing the demo and supporting the game. More warm updates are on the way!Mikhail 😉

  • Gamepad support in progress 🎮✨ - 10 September 2025

Hello friends! It’s been a while since my last update, and the most important thing to say is that \Fix This House\ is not abandoned. During the summer, I took a little break from development to rest and reset my mind. That pause gave me fresh energy to continue working on the game.Right now, I’m focusing on adding full \gamepad support\. Basic controls — movement, zoom and work with blocks — are already working! I’m currently finishing the button remapping system so you can fully customize the controls to your liking.I’m also working on supporting the most popular controllers: \X-Box\, \PlayStation\, \Steam Controller\, \Steam Deck\, and more. Each device has its own quirks, and I want to make sure everything feels smooth and natural.A lot of work has been done already, but there’s still plenty ahead. Thank you for staying with me and waiting patiently for updates! ❤️More news is coming…

  • Updated Levels, Improved Placement Area, and others! - 31 March 2025

Hello! 🖖 I’m happy to share a fresh Fix This House update! This one makes the game more intuitive and enjoyable, especially for new players. ✨ Animated Placement Area – the block placement zone now gently bounces and levitates above the surface, making the building process feel even smoother! 🏡 New and Reworked Levels – I’ve added levels 2, 3, and updated level 5 to introduce mechanics more gradually. Now, the journey into Fix This House feels even more natural. 🎥 New Setting – you can now disable the Camera Lens effect in the settings if you prefer. 🖱 More Comfortable Controls – camera movement is now mapped to the left mouse button by default (previously, it was the middle mouse button). If you liked the old setting, you can always change it back! 📌 What’s next? I’m starting work on the main levels! It’ll take some time, but I’ll try to share updates along the way. Thanks for pla…

  • New Visuals, Improved UI, and a Better First Level! - 22 March 2025

Hello! 🖖 It’s been quite some time since the last Fix This House update – sorry about that! I had some things to take care of in real life, but now everything’s fine, and I can continue working on the game. And here is a new update 🎉 📸 Tilt Shift Effect – I’ve reworked the blur effect to create a soft tilt-shift look, making objects feel a bit more toy-like when viewed up close. The focus now adjusts automatically to whatever is in the center of the screen. 🎮 Updated Control Hints – I’ve redesigned the icons to better represent their actions. Hopefully, they’ll be easier to notice (and don't miss it)! 🏡 A New First Level – The building area has been moved to the center, making it easier to get started and more comfortable to play. 🚧 What’s next? A new update is coming soon with more early levels that better explain the mechanics and make the learning process more intuitive. Thanks…

  • New Hints and UI improvements – Demo Update Now Live! - 5 October 2024

Hello 🖖 I’m excited to share a new update for Fix This House Demo that I’ve been working on. The past few weeks have been all about making the game even more relaxing and enjoyable, and I think you’ll love the new additions! One of the biggest changes is the hint system. Now, if you need a little guidance, you can see a subtle silhouette of the final building, helping you visualize the finished structure. It's there to gently guide you without taking away from the fun of figuring things out. I’ve also added a block counter, so you can easily keep track of how many blocks you’ve placed and how many are left. It’s a small addition, but it helps bring a nice sense of progress and clarity as you play. Lastly, I’ve squashed a few small visual bugs to make everything run more smoothly, so the experience should feel cleaner and more polished now. I hope these changes make Fix This House Demo…

  • Pastel Perfection - 26 September 2024

Hello! I’ve spent the last few weeks carefully refining a brand new color palette for every level. Each palette has been meticulously crafted to embrace soft, pastel tones, giving the game a fresh and inviting feel. The colors now seamlessly blend with the overall design, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere in every corner of the game. In addition to that, I’ve added some lovely new animations to the levels, bringing a touch of life and movement to your building experience. You’ll notice little details that make the world feel even more dynamic and interactive. Lastly, I’ve also fixed an old issue with the blocks that were hiding beneath the surface. Now, everything works as it should, making your playthroughs much smoother and more enjoyable 🛠️ I hope these changes bring extra charm to the game, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Cheers, Mikhail 😉

  • Wettest update! - 16 September 2024

Hello! I’m thrilled to announce some exciting updates I’ve been working on for Fix This House! The graphics have received a nice polish, with a new LEGO-like effect to bring a bit more charm to your building experience. I’ve also reworked several levels and added some fun, interactive elements. You’ll now find flowers on lamp posts, adding a soft, decorative touch. There’s even a bell sound when the small boat on the water is triggered—here’s a little sneak peek of it in action 🌼 For the winter map, I’ve added a snowman! It brings a playful feel to the cold, snowy levels, and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did creating it ☃️ I’ve also placed hydrants in the city locations. They can be activated by hitting them or simply clicking on them for a fun surprise! Check out the water burst in this clip 💦 I hope these little touches bring a bit of extra charm and life into the game, and I…

  • Fix This House! - 29 August 2024

I'm excited to share a fresh update for Fix This House (previously known as Please Fix The Building). This update brings a beautiful new background that adds a touch of mystery to your building adventures. I've also given the graphics a slight polish, making the game world even more charming ✨ One of the most requested features is now live—you can skip the intro and level transition animations! ⏩ I’ve also reworked the level transition animation to make it faster, so you can get back to building in no time. I also want to address the recent name change. Some players found the original title, Please Fix The Building, confusing, thinking it was a sequel to Please Fix The Road. I apologize for any confusion this caused. I genuinely thought Please Fix The Building was a fitting name, one that could have been part of a fun bundle with Please Fix The Road. However, to avoid any further mix-up…
