• Major Demo Update! - 15 February 2026

  Rewind Clock You can now rewind a step for one sun energy. It was the most wished feature and we can see now why. You made a mistake, or havn't figured out yet how the characters move? Rewind is there for the rescue! Collect sunbeams To make each decision even more interesting, you will now be able to increase your solar energy in each level, by merging more than 3 objects. The energy is used for the tools you unlocked so far. Tool selection removed This was an interesting one. When adding the rewind feature, we saw a lot issues when selecting tools. And overall it didn't feel like a meaningful decision. Most players used only the magic wand. Experimenting with new tools like the hammer felt always a bit tedious. We had more and more rules and edge cases. So instead of making it more complex, we did a step back and removed the tool selection giving you all unlocked tools in all levels.…

• New map, balancing and Bugfixes - 5 January 2026

  Good bye Christmas - Hello 2026Happy new year to everybody. We wish you a healthy 2026 full of love. We removed the Christmas theme and thanks to all your feedback, we improved the balancing and did some bugfixes for the demo:There is a new map as the first one after the tutorial. If you have played already beyond that, this map, will be playable. It might look a bit weird on the world map. two maps changed places to have a smoother learning curve. The first map with the magic wand got 2 more solar energy to give you more wiggle room for errors. In option menu the full screen resolution was displayed wrong, which is fixed now.Some Chirstmas maps got removed but might come back later. In general we will try to use the Demo a bit like an early access version to test ideas and maps. The Demo might be a bit too long for a "normal" Demo and we really hope, this will not affect sales later on…

• Demo Patch - 14 June 2025

  We are flabbergasted by the response to the trailer and demo for our tiny, quirky game experiment. It started as a small Godot experiment and became a real game people actually play. Crazy!As we don't approach it as a usual "commercial" game where you think a lot about target audience, how to reach people, etc we were surprised it resonates so well with you people out there. Most of our decisions around the game and what we want to do is based around if we find it fun or a good learning experience and for someone like me, who made games for a living for more than 25 years this is a liberating, fun experience.   Event We exhibit Match Tree for the first time. At the Polaris in Hamburg from 11.-13.10.2024 About Match Tree Match Tree is a breathtaking puzzle experience (...it's actually a match 3 game). Embark on an epic journey with pixie, gnome and witch full of adventure, mystery (huh?) and sheep. Become the master of combination and create magnificent mansions from trees, flowers and carrots (I swear, it's fun!).
