  Welcome to a new update for Homecoming, one of the last you'll see before the game is finished. There should be a total of three more updates: a new map, the final area of the game, and the ending(s) themselves, along with the corresponding tweaks after the testing phase.But now, let's get on with the update: New map The second area hidden behind the mysterious doors is now revealed. It is an apparently abandoned area that you have accessed by elevator. Darkness surrounds you, but this time your flashlight works perfectly. Soon you will discover with your flashlight that you are not alone. You will face enemies you already know, but something may have changed. • Update #4 - 16 February 2025

  After the announcement that the game is delayed to the beginning of 2025, here are the news: New introduction for the story Until now, everything started directly in a strange room that led to the corridor of the house where most of the game takes place. I've added a bit of an introduction to the chaotic story, but you'll still have to figure out who you are and why you're there. Rework of the main map There have been several modifications of the main map, changing old assets for some more modern ones that maintain the ambience. One of the most significant cases is the window, which previously had a simple png texture and now implements exterior glass and rain materials. BEFORE AFTER New map We now have the first area hidden behind the mysterious doors. It is a dark area, your flashlight has failed you but you are lucky, the candlelight lets you see enough to know that you are not alone…

• Homecoming 2025 - 23 December 2024

  With great regret, I have decided to delay the release of Homecoming until the first quarter of 2025. The estimated date will be February 2025 but I will actually tell you that it will come out when it is really ready to come out. The reason is that I don't want to release something incomplete, rushed parts or something that doesn't represent what this project is really about. As the sole member of the project, I am putting all my heart into this game, but I also have other responsibilities and a job as a programmer. By this I simply mean that I need a bit more time, but I'm still as excited as I was when I first thought about developing videogames. In the next weeks you will have a new update and they will keep coming until the official release of the game. I hope you understand and I want to wish you a happy holiday season, see you in 2025!

• Update #3 - 24 October 2024

  I'm already preparing the final areas of the game that will lead to discovering the secret of the Dewey's story, not without making it a bit difficult of course. I've decided not to reveal too much of what's new in these latest versions and let you discover it for yourselves, but here's something to get you warmed up: The dummies are back with a new AI and several surprises that you'll have to discover if you want to complete the game. Can you guess what you'll find behind these doors? Key animations Phone takes centre stage (can't say much more) And finally there has been a pretty high optimization on load times and textures and there will be another one before release to get everything in place! The rest of the stuff you'll have to find out, but it'll be worth the wait!

  Welcome back! As you may know, the launch of Homecoming is just around the corner and I'm already finalizing details. As I said in the previous update, the most significant change in this version is the new model and animations for the demon of our story, but I bring some more: New model and animations for the demon The old model and animations have been replaced with a new one. We have a wide range of animations that will make you hold on to your chair, so I'm just going to leave you some of the previews :) New transition zone As the story progresses, you will see changes in the starting area of the game. This is the area where the player starts every time he dies or loads the game, and it will have some changes along the game. • Update #1 - 25 June 2024

  I'm going to implement a new model for the demon with the intention of improving the realism and atmosphere of Homecoming and give it more prominence. Until now the model was quite poor and did not cause the terror that Homecoming seeks to provide. Here is a preview of what will be your worst nightmare: The graphic section of the VHS system has been implemented along with a new lore video inside the story. New interaction in the bathroom that replaces the old conversation. Added new loop after picking up the flashlight that adds lore and a new view of the place where the family murder was committed. Added mannequins on the roofs of the buildings in the final part of the outdoor scenery that add voices and lore to the story. And a little scare ;) Added sound effects in the menus.
