• Bugfixes and some Coding changes - 2 June 2026

  This update handles a number of issues. A ton of small bugfixes - too many to list - and one major backend change.Previously there were different builds of NSL available for different platforms. Because there were significant differences in the code for them, they were kept separate. This change consolidates them into one single build. This will help prevent bugs in the future from appearing (Quite a few showed up due to the different builds existing).On your end, you shouldn't see any difference aside from some bugs being squashed - but it's a major backend change. While this change has been pretty thoroughly tested, it may still contain some hidden bugs - so if you run into any, please report them in the main bug report thread or on discord.As always, the game is still in early access so some bugs are to be expected. • Chapter 6! - 29 May 2026

  Chapter 6 is finally here!Included with Chapter 6 is new prologue content. The first time you load a save from CH5, you'll be asked if you wish to view the new prologue content or not. If you decline, you'll be asked every time you load a new CH5 save. Once you've viewed it once, you'll no longer be prompted. Alternatively, starting a new game and playing through it that way will avoid the prompt entirely.Chapter 6 (and the new prologue content) introduces a new sort of freeroam. These are single-panel, and will change based on your actions. There's currently 1 in the prologue content, and 1 in CH6. You'll likely see these pop up occasionally moving forward. They're a bit easier to deal with, as there's no navigation necessary. Moving forward, expect to see a mix of the two types. "Previously On" has been slightly updated. • CH6 Info - 11 April 2026

  Chapter 6 is coming in May!An exact date isn't ready yet, but it should be sometime in the middle of the month. An update of the WTmod will also be available shortly after the CH6 release. New content is always released on patreon first, followed by steam shortly after - this is due to additional coding needed for steam releases. The delay shouldn't be more than a week or so. Full details and patch notes will be available upon release. For now here's some info on the prologue!New prologue content is also being shipped with CH6. Originally this was planned to be added as flashbacks throughout CH6 and 7 - but after careful consideration, it's been moved to the prologue instead. • No Such Luck - Walkthrough+Mod! - 23 August 2025

  Today is finally the release of the WT+WT Mod for No Such Luck!The DLC/WT Will continue to be updated as the game is updated - as new content is made for the game, the WT will be updated to match.For now the DLC contains a Mod for NSL, and a companion WT PDF.The Mod might be a little different than you're used to. Here's a few screenshots explaining it. Explanations can also be found in the in-game help tab.In the Options Menu, you'll see a new tab with the DLC installed:Full Mode adds commentary along with choices including what effects they have.   Patch notes:Added Chapter 5 - the first chapter of episode 2!Tons of minor bugfixes/typos.Added a "Previously" on to the beginning of Chapter 5. This can be skipped via a button up top.   Chapter 5 is on it's way! The final touches to the initial build of CH5 are being completed nowand playtesting is ongoing.Currently CH5 release on Steam is slated for Aug 12th. Either with CH5, or soon after asmall DLC package will also come out - containing a full PDF walkthrough, as well as an in-game walkthrough mod - note, this may be delayed as much as a week after the initial CH5 release, but it is coming!A full breakdown+patch notes will be available when CH5 is released. For now a quick rundown -CH5 is the first chapter of Episode 2 - containing over 4k renders, 30+ animations, 60+ new Audio tracks, as well as a few small bugfixes to earlier content.
