• Demo Refresh 4: Key Rebinding & In-game Options - 7 February 2025

  With players still testing out the previous balance changes, it was time to shift focus on making the game more player friendly! To that end the latest Demo update includes the following: Control re-binding: All keys/buttons can now be rebound in the Settings screen or Pause menu There are separate bindings for keyboard or controller, and the rebinding options will dynamically change based on which you are currently using The controller images default to Xbox, but should work with almost any controller including Steam Deck PS5 controller images will appear instead if that controller is in use - other images will be added later In-Game Options Menu Pausing with Start (Controller) or Escape (Keyboard) now shows the full options menu The Settings screen has been updated to include a section for re-binding controls I hope these changes make playing a bit more enjoyable!

• Demo Refresh 2: New Enemies and Settings! - 26 October 2024

  I've been working on fixing bugs and responding to feedback you all have provided on the Demo version of Nine Live Ninja: Survive! Here is a run-down of the latest change: New enemies: racoons, wolves, and owls (oh my!) Removed enemy: the tiny super-fast squirrels (everyone hated them) Music and Sound Effects: volume controls have been added to the settings screen Video: game will now default to full screen but allows switching to windowed mode Video: game also now conforms to any resolution without black bars Enemy Speed setting: enemies speed can be set to "casual" which makes them slower and reduces the need to dodge - the default is still "fast" which does generally require dodging to maintain distance and utilize invincibility frames Auto Traps: This is a new option in the Settings - when selected traps are automatically deployed every 1 second when available and every 0.1 seconds…
