• 'Electric Jester' Achievement Fix - 11 August 2025

  I can now confirm that the 'Electric Jester' achievement should be obtainable as expected. Apologies for the delay in getting this fix out. In existing save files, you will need to recomplete Spark's mission in order to trigger the achievement but can do so in a save file in which that pygmy is already collected without issue.As always, reach out to me via email or social media if you find any other issues pertaining to this achievement or the rest of Hop 'n' Marty. • Known Bug with "Electric Jester" Achievement - 30 June 2025

  There is a known ongoing bug preventing players from aquiring the "Electric Jester" achievement. I just wanted to reassure all achievement hunters that this is being worked on and a fix will be coming soon. The achievement will be obtainable in both new save files and save files where it's requirements were already met. Thank you for your patience on this issue.

• Costume Update Hotfix - 21 May 2025

  A small hotfix that fixes a few bugs that came in the Costumes and Achievements update. Prevented the medicine cabinet in world 2 being already open when starting the level The achievement 'Electric Jester' is now unlockable as intended Skipping the boss fight intro cutscene no longer skips the first phase of the boss fight The boss fight now goes through all phases as intended Thank you again for playing Hop 'n' Marty and if you find any other bugs please get in contact with me through the email address linked on the store page.

• The Costumes and Achievements Update is out now! - 19 May 2025

  Jump back into Hop 'n' Marty, now with new content. You can now unlock steam achievements for completing various tasks in game, some obvious and some a little more secretive. You can also unlock equippable costumes for both Hop and Marty by finding prawns hidden in each level. I hope you continue to enjoy Hop 'n' Marty with these new features. • Achievements are Coming - 28 April 2025

  I'm happy to announce that steam achievements will be coming in the next Hop 'n' Marty update. This was heavily requested and I've been working hard to come up with a fun list of achievements that will challenge player to explore everything Hop 'n' Marty has to offer. You may already see achievements listed on the game's library page. Please note that this is for testing purposes and they are not currently unlockable however they will be soon. Thank you for your patience and I am excited to release the achievement update soon!

• Price Reduction - 15 February 2025

  After receiving feedback from multiple players I have decided to reduce the price of Hop 'n' Marty. I have taken on board the feedback I was given and agree the initial price was somewhat steep. I hope the updated price feels more in line with what players feel is fair and to everyone who has already purchased a copy of the game, thank you so much for your early support and your feedback on the pricing of the game. • Hop 'n' Marty Bug Fix Patch - 23 January 2025

  Fixed collision on top of the battleship in Playtime Kingdom to prevent players getting stuck in gaps in the geometry Extended the respawn trigger in the mirror sub-area in Playtime Kingdom ensure players cannot fall to the floor of the area without respawning Prevented a bug that would sometimes incorrectly copy the save data of a played file to a new file when starting a new game after playing on an in-progress file Corrected a bug which caused the auto camera to invert when the invert camera X option is active Prevented the pixelation effect from reamining active after exiting the Legally Distinct Dungeon sub-area in Home Sweet Home Please reach out to me if you find any more issues in this new build.
