- Devlog #10: The World of Tarvos Desolation is Growing Stronger! đșïžđ - 28 June 2026
Hello! The last few weeks in the studio have been incredibly intense. The team has been working at full speed to deliver the best possible gameplay experience for you. We focused on key aspects of the game: from stability and world expansion to pure, new gameplay. Here is a breakdown of what we are currently working on and what you will soon see in Tarvos Desolation! New Map and Better Exploration đșïž The game world is growing. We are proud to announce that we have developed a brand-new map that will offer a fresh, tension-filled environment to explore. Additionally, we took a close look at how you move through the world: Passages and shortcuts: We are adding new paths and logical shortcuts between individual levels. Smooth movement and discovering hidden routes will significantly ease navigation and make returning to familiar locations (so-called backtracking) much more enjoyable. MoreâŠ
- Devlog #9: Combat Revolution and Moving to UE 5.7 - 31 January 2026
Hello, Survivors! Welcome to another progress update on Tarvos Desolation. The last few weeks have been incredibly intense for us. We focused on what matters most in gameplay â the combat "feel" and the technology powering our world. We have three key new features for you that completely change the game's dynamics. Here is what we have prepared: 1. New Combat System: Responsiveness is Key Our goal was simple: Maximum responsiveness. We reduced the delay between key presses and character reaction (input lag). Animations are now "juicier" and blend more smoothly into one another. Dodging, attacking, and aiming now feel instinctive. In Tarvos Desolation, every mistake can cost you your life, so controls shouldn't get in your way â they must be an extension of your will. 2. New Toy in the Arsenal: Automated Turret Sometimes firepower isn't enough and you need a tactical advantage. IntroduciâŠ
- Devlog #8: Arsenal Expansion and New Enemies - 10 January 2026
Hello Survivors! Work on Tarvos Desolation isn't slowing down. In recent weeks, weâve focused on making the moon of Tarvos an even more dangerous place, but weâve also put new toys in your hands to help you survive in this hell. Here is what has landed in the game: 1. New Nightmares: "Finger Middle Monster" We have a new enemy for you, which we tentatively (and quite affectionately) call the Finger Middle Monster. It is a grotesque creature that looks... well, youâll see for yourselves. Don't let its appearance fool you â itâs a deadly beast that fits perfectly into our body-horror atmosphere. Meeting it face-to-face is the last thing you want. 2. Request for the Community: Name this "thing"! While exploring ruined outposts, youâll come across a new element of flora (or perhaps fauna?). It is a strange, organic growth with a huge eye that constantly tracks the player's every move. It doâŠ

- Devlog #7: The Drone That Will Save Your Life - 1 September 2025
Welcome! Another devlog, more news! A new companion in Tarvos â a drone that fights by your side! Our drone has just received its final texture version. Itâs not a shiny gadget fresh from the factory â its surface shows signs of wear, as if it remembers abandoned laboratories and the weight of Tarvosâs industrial world. Thanks to this, it will not only blend into the dark atmosphere but also become a believable part of the environment. Itâs equipment that players will encounter in the full version of the game. The Drone as the Playerâs Companion But the droneâs usefulness doesnât end with blending into the dark setting â from the very beginning, we planned for it to become an active companion. Hovering by the player, it will: Lock onto enemies: instantly identifies threats and warns the player. Provide fire support: opens fire, distracting opponents and giving you a moment to counterattâŠ
- Devlog #6: Safe House - 5 August 2025
Hi! In todayâs devlog, weâll take a look at the new feature weâve introduced to the world of Tarvos: Desolation. Safe House: What can you do in the Safe House? Inventory management: Here players can organize their gear, prepare mission loadouts, upgrade weapons and armor. The place allows you to rest and regenerate health. The Safe House will be a location players can access after completing a given mission. Its appearance will change depending on the game progress. In the previous devlog, we presented models representing health, shield, and oxygen, which can be found during the journey on Tarvos. The player will need to pay attention to 3 parameters: Armor â The durability of the suit, which can be upgraded over time. If the armor is at a good level, it prevents the decrease of vital stats. Health â Decreases when the armor is broken; losing health equals death and loss of level progreâŠ

We're here with another batch of updates weâve been working on.Without further delay, letâs get straight to the point.Boss Name Chosen! In our last post, we asked for your help in naming one of the bosses youâll encounter during your âvisitâ to Tarvosâ moon. We think it perfectly reflects the bossâs dark and mysterious aura.Expect more details about him in an upcoming post!New EquipmentNext up on todayâs list: a brand-new weapon â the mine launcher! This weapon is designed for area control and restricting enemy movement. - Devlog #4 â Suggest a name for new boss - 1 June 2025
Hi there! We know itâs been a while since our last update â we disappeared off the radar for a bit, but not without reason. Over the past few months, weâve been hard at work on Tarvos Desolation, and today weâre finally ready to share the results of that work with you. This time around, thereâs less narrative, but more solid information. Weâve prepared a breakdown of the newest features, models, and improvements weâre working on for upcoming versions of the game. If youâre waiting for fresh news about monsters, gear, and mechanics â this post is for you. New Monster: We're planning a new boss â a mutated version of one of the existing creatures. It's still early in development and we're gathering ideas, but we already know it'll be a tough opponent with unique attacks and a dark backstory. We're also thinking about a name â if you have any ideas, feel free to share them on our Discord oâŠ
- Devlog #3 - New Monster, Velpendra, Perks System - 4 May 2025
Date: 7th Cycle, Moon Tarvos May 4, 2120 â Earth Location: First expedition station on Tarvos We encountered her in the dark stone trenches just after landing on the moon. Velpendra â a predator with an elongated, segmented body and numerous limbs ending in blades. She moves quickly, silently, always from the side, never head-on. *She strikes with lightning speed and precision, targeting critical points. We examined the site of the attack â she leaves behind nothing but thin marks in the ground and streaks of blood. Her exoskeleton is as hard as ceramic fibers, nearly impervious to small-caliber firearms. You wonât notice them until itâs too late. The creature hunts in packs. Velpendra â classification: predatory organism, subterranean arthropod. Exercise extreme caution.* Sergeant Lina Vorsk News: Hey there! Weâre constantly working on the development of our game. - Journal de dĂ©veloppement #2 â Nouveau monstre, Morphulon - 27 January 2025
Field Journal: Entry 2178-A Date: 12th cycle, Moon of Tarvos January 27, 2145 on Earth Location: Dry Lakes of Tarvos I can't believe what I just witnessedâthis is my first true discovery and it exceeds all my expectations. While exploring the dry lakes of Tarvos, my team encountered a creature that I can only describe as a "Morphulon." We used everything against it: plasma, projectiles, but it was remarkably resistant to everything. Then it happened. One of my companions was captured. The creature wrapped its spiked tendrils around him, and within seconds he was gone. It devoured him, absorbed his body, and then the creature fully regenerated. It was as if it fed to heal itselfâa terrifying display of its power, a different level of mutation. I can't let this discovery be forgotten. I named this creature "Morphulon." This is my discovery and it will change everything. A creature that feâŠ
- Devlog #1 - New Title and More Changes - 13 December 2024
Greetings, Survivors! Weâre excited to share some changes with you! Today marks a significant step in the evolution of our project that has now transformed into something darker and even more fitting for the unsettling journey weâre creating. Welcome to Tarvos Desolation â a name that better captures a sci-fi horror that awaits you. Why the Name Change? The decision to rebrand our game wasnât made lightly. As development progressed and the world of Jupiter Survivor took shape, we realized the name didnât fully encapsulate the isolation and dread we wanted players to feel. We chose Tarvos over Jupiter because itâs not explored in other games, allowing us to create something unique. Its small size and landscape create a claustrophobic atmosphere that adds tension and fits the emotional depth we want in our story. While "Desolation" underscores the loneliness and danger that define the expâŠ
