Short description
Hyde, an aging labrador retriever, wakes up and realizes that Derek, his beloved Human has disappeared. The doggo reluctantly leaves the house to investigate, only to find himself in the middle of an ancient dog prophecy.
About this game
Play as an aging labrador retriever named Hyde. One morning you wake up and realize that your Human, Derek, is gone. Get out of the house and explore the desolate yet beautiful fall surroundings of the San Pedro village. Use your dog’s senses, solve problems, and puzzles the doggo way. Search for hidden passages around obstacles and enemies, find long-lost balls that will remind you of precious moments, discover ancient dog lore, and finally pass through the mysterious Tailgate to find and save your Human. Thousands of years ago ancient Dogs chose to accompany Humans on their journey, establishing a strong spiritual bond, the Kana. Connected through Kana they’ve been through thick and thin together. Through war, misery, desperation, illness, and other mishaps big and small, Dogs have never questioned Humans. Dog after dog, generation after generation, they were loyal to the human race. But as a wise dog said, loyalty is a two-way street. Kana was absorbing an immense amount of hate, doubt, pain, and suffering. The connection became so corrupted and fragile that it finally broke down, tearing the fabric of both Human and Canine worlds apart. What exactly caused Kana's final corruption is unknown, but it must have been something truly terrible. Dogs have became feral, returning to their prehistoric forms or even worse. The Rift, however, for reasons no one yet understands, did not affect some of the dogs. One older, grumpy labrador in particular… Up to 7 different locations including village streets, an abandoned warehouse, stray dogs' Refuge, rural wilderness, and a mystical canine parallel world; Think and see like a dog — sniff for smell traces that will lead you to your objectives, important places, and items. Talk to other animals that will help you on your journey with their unique abilities. A cat that can read (at least that's what she says), a diplomatic pug, a stray dog that will teach you survival skills, and many others.
