  We originally launched WEO as a paid game on Steam, but after testing the latest PC and Steam Deck versions, we are genuinely enjoying where the game is heading. The core loop of picking a hero, jumping into expeditions, fighting bosses, collecting loot, and improving your roster is getting closer to what we always wanted WEO to become. 🌍 But to get the game to the quality level it needs, we need more players actually playing it. Moving to free-to-play removes the entry barrier and lets more people try the game, give feedback, join events, and help us shape the next stage of development.
