  Retro Relic's Demo just received a new major update!Thank you everybody who downloaded and played Retro Relics during Steam Next Festival October Edition! I got so much new feedback - good and bad, listened carefully and can proudly announce that many of your requested features and changes are already implemented. I can say, Retro Relics has never been in a better state and is on the final sprint before releasing end of the year.What can you expect from the new demo version?Running / Sprinting has been overhauled. As wished, the running speed is much faster now. • Major Demo Update for Retro Relics - 13 August 2025

  Retro Relic's Demo just received a major update!I heard your feedback and worked hard on getting out this new patch for the game and the demo available to play. There has been a major overhaul of the graphics:I added a soft and gradient lighting system to visualize sunrays and making the visuals cozier and smoother. There are also new cloud shadows randomly passing through the levels.I added a Graphics tab to the settings, so you can enable and disable the new graphic style to your likings.I completely reworked the excavation mini game:I got a lot of feedback on the digging / excavation mini game. It was often bugged with dirt patches not reacting to digging because of overlapping. Most of you also just dug away all of the dirt everytime and the Pinpointer mini detector was useless.I know increased the number of dirt lumps to over 1000 and you can just dig away everywhere right ahead. • Movement Update Demo V0.17.3 - 23 April 2025

  Hello Relic Hunters! It's been a week since the release of my demo for "Retro Relics". Many of you have already played the game and there were a few issues that were reported related to the movement system. I listened carefully and worked hard to get these annoying issues solved. Demo Version 0.17.3 can now be downloaded (it will download automatically) and I have fixed following things: Update Log Version 0.17.3: Fixed issue with player being stuck in walls and objects Improved the running ability: You can now run with Shift or B-button no matter what tool you have selected or where you are. You can even sprint in the basement. It will automatically change back to your last used tool :) Added hotbar clicking: You can now simply clicked on the tool in the hotbar and it will select it, of course you can still scroll or use the tool number :) Fixed a few more minor spelling errors etc. If…

  Hello everybody! Great news for Retro Relics. The beta test phase for the official demo has just started. As of today, the demo version Beta 0.15 of my game has just been pushed to Steam.   Devlog Announcement: Hello fans and friends of Retro Relics, the relaxing treasure hunting and metal detecting adventure. I'm glad to announce that you will be able to choose to play as female or a male metal detectorist.
