Steam Next Fest February 2025 is here, and so is the 1.05 update to Infinium: A Spaceboy's Tale demo! Changelog: - add blocked by connected enemies portal feature to level 3 and level 4 - player is faster during attack animation now - red crab enemy rebalance - warp to last checkpoint sequence is 2x faster - adjust out of level detection to start warp to last checkpoint sequence quicker - improve falling tile logic - update skip text in introductory cutscene - improve flying enemy After reviewing some feedback, I've decided to restrict some areas in the second half of Act 1. So now, there are two spots where the player is required to kill proper enemies to unlock access to the further part of the level. Keep playing, share your feedback and enjoy the Next Fest! Tutorial rework As a part of that work, I'm currently remaking the tutorial level to introduce players to the game in the best possible way. Sneak peek below! What else? Apart from the tutorial, I've been working on various elements of the game, like decorating levels, improving multiple gameplay mechanics, adding new sounds, and reworking some cutscenes. • Steam page is up and some more details! - 9 October 2024

Hello Steam Community! I'm proud to show all of you what I've been working on for the past 3 years. I've been interested in video games since I was a child, and my dream was always to create my own and publish it on Steam. It all started as a final project for my IT studies and turned into this exciting game. I'm going to post some development progress here from time to time and show overviews of the in-game mechanics and story. Most of the gameplay elements and levels are finished. Still, there is always room for further polish and new features. That's why I aim for a release in 2025. Add the game to your wishlist if you like my work so far! Check out the latest trailer and stay tuned!
