- Fixes, improvements - 28 July 2025
Today, we have a small update with fixes and improvements:- Another location in the café where you could get stuck by bringing the wrong order has been fixed.- Animations have been added for one of the guests to more accurately show that the order was correct and everything was fine.- Added missing collisions for some objects in the cafe and trailer park.- Improved Russian translation.What's in the works:- Achievements will be added soon.- High-quality Chinese translation (we are still waiting for it from our friends, as soon as it is implemented in the game, I will write a separate post).------------------------------------And some exciting news - we've surpassed 1,000 sales!Thank you all so much for your words of support and feedback about the game!I am very grateful to all of you! Localization updates:- Added Brazilian Portuguese- Added Simplified Chinese- Improved English translation (not mentioned in yesterday's update)- Fixed the absence of Russian in some dialogues (but there is still a missing dialogue in the night shift that does not want to synchronize)Notes:- Simplified Chinese may not be of very high quality. We are working with the guys from BIOHAZARD.CLUB, and after the weekend they will provide a very high-quality translation.- The translations cover 95% of the game. - Beginning of localization - 23 July 2025
Hello, everyone!Today, I implemented a language switching system and added the first language—Russian.If everything goes smoothly, tomorrow I will add a couple more languages that many people have been waiting for!In this update, I also fixed bugs related to the notepad and improved the food animations (just a little bit more).----------------------------------------Although I still have a fever, I had to go to work in this condition due to deadlines at my main job, so today I worked a full 8-hour day and worked on the translation system afterwards.Thank you very much to everyone who supports me and the project—many languages will be available tomorrow.Have a good evening, everyone, and I'm going to get some sleep so I can finally recover.- Denis

Hey, everybody! HorrorGameAward Summer Showcase Yesterday was HorrorGameAward's Summer Showcase and the start of the HorrorGameAward themed sale, True Nightmare - Roadside Cafe participated in both events! In less than 24 hours, 80 people added the game to their wishlist and we're closing in on a very significant number. (We'll probably reach it this week and I'll share this great news). Trailer and release date A new trailer was unveiled at the event, and the game's release date was announced (I'll do a separate post about the release later in the week). The trailer showed new locations, some previously undisclosed moments from the game (brutal, as some people said). Hello to everyone who is reading this! Haven't heard from me in a long time. There were reasons for that, but now everything is fine and work continues! I wanted to provide streamers and media with really high quality artwork for them to use. I found a great artist (judging by his work and reviews), we agreed on everything. I transferred the prepayment and the work began! The first sketches of the 2 pieces I ordered were great and the one provided in color was also unparalleled. Steam Demo Fest The demo prologue of our game took part in the festival and showed incredible results! - 3000 Wishlists - 1600 unique users - A lot of positive feedback in X, Discord and on Steam! Hey, hey, everybody! In today's update, support for 10 new languages has been added. You can now play the prologue in the following languages: - English - Spanish - Russian - Portuguese - Portuguese (Brazil) - German - French - Japanese - Korean - Ukrainian - Polish (Chinese language support is just around the corner!)
