- Our next game is coming out soon! - 8 September 2026
The release date has finally been decided! We’re thrilled to announce publicly that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be released to the entire world on October 12, 2026. It’s been two years since we released Water Delivery on September 18, 2024. Water Delivery was our first “real game”. Before Water Delivery, as some of you are already aware, we spent nearly two years making small games in Fortnite. After Water Delivery was released, the very next day in fact, our team sat around a table and decided what our next game would be. It only took us a few hours to decide. None of us expected the game would take two years to make. Our hope is that Den-Den: Tokyo Horror will be unlike anything you’ve ever played before. While it takes inspiration from games such as Pathologic, Resident Evil, Bioshock and The Elder Scrolls - its unique mixture of dynamic horror and immersive sim game design come toget…

- Dev Log #1 | DEN-DEN: TOKYO HORROR - 5 March 2025
Greetings! While the temperature may be hot in Cebu right now, fret not, for our hearts are as cold as the frozen throne which intombs them. Rainbows and butterflies don't make for good inspiration in the highly respected field of "Horror Game Development", or so they say. Today, I’d like to dive deeper and share more details with everyone regarding our upcoming game, Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. What is Den-Den: Tokyo Horror? If we were to remove the generalized “Horror” tag from our game, what would be left? The answer boils down into two specific (and equal) parts, Survival Horror and Immersive Sim. The term 'Immersive Sim' can mean a lot of different things to different types of gamers. Images conjured up in the mind can range from games such as Ultima Underworld to Bioshock. But there are also games such as Pathologic, which to many can be considered an Immersive Sim. Our goal with Den-D…

Manage your limited resources, which are needed not only for the sake of those dependent upon you, but also for your own survival. Time is not on your side, and the people have been cursed by something evil. How many deaths will be on your watch this week? Roots Back in the old days of our studio, when we were creating games inside of Fortnite, one of the games we created was called Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. At the time, it was one of our most successful games we had made…

Greetings! We are excited to announce that Water Delivery now has Trading Cards & Community Items available! We have been blown away by the positive reception to Water Delivery. We have watched your streams, we have read your reviews, and we have enjoyed every moment of it with you. - Water Delivery - Dev Update #3 - 16 August 2024
Hello again, fellow Water Delivery Drivers! I wanted to keep everybody in the loop on what we are working on right now and what the timeline is looking like for release. At this very moment, our development team is working hard on optimization, testing, bug fixing, localization, and implementing all of the possible endings for the game. Our game supports 15 languages as of right now, so a lot of testing is required just for that by itself. We are also doing our best to make sure the game is hyper optimized to run on a variety of different hardware configurations. We are a small studio with limited means, but we strive to invest a significant amount of effort into making sure that all players will be able to play Water Delivery on their machines smoothly. Things are moving forward at a steady pace, and because of our project management expertise, we are not foreseeing the development tea…
- Water Delivery - Dev Update #2 - 2 August 2024
Happy Friday everyone! The week is finally coming to a close, but the work never stops over here at Frozen Lake Software! This week, we were able to finalize the last remaining questions our team had regarding the final level, along with its multiple possible endings. I won't spoil anything, but I think you will all be surprised with how dynamic the final level will end up being as compared to the rest of the game. Most games that I've played will start out of the gates really strong, but then fizzle out by the ending sequence, leaving a lot to be desired by me and I'm sure many other players. Our goal with this project is to avoid that at all costs. Our design vision for the final level of the game is for it be a grand finale! Part of that goal means ensuring it stands apart from everything that came before it. The other part is giving it as much attention as we did all previous levels…
- Water Delivery - Dev Update - 26 July 2024
"When you launch a game, you really don't know how many people are going to show up." _ Mike Morhaime Wise words from an industry legend. Over here at the office of Frozen Lake Software, our development team is rapidly approaching the finish line on our upcoming title, Water Delivery! Yet, we are faced with quite the conundrum. Do we release the game when the development journey is complete, or do we wait to release it until we have reached a certain number of Wishlist's? I'll get back to this conundrum in a little bit, but first let me give you all some additional context. See, this will actually be our first standalone experience that we've developed as a studio. Prior to Water Delivery, all of the games that we made before were actually inside of Fortnite! As a studio, we designed, developed and released 11 games on Fortnite in the span of 14 month using Unreal Editor for Fortnite, o…
