• Delumber 2nd phase nerf + sfx volume regulation - 20 September 2026

  We knew that the 2nd phase of Delumber was too difficult but we didnt have time to nerf it before the launch. We also detected that some sfx and ost themes were to loud comparing to other effects so we lowered them. We hope this changes make the game more enjoyable! -Gaua Games Team

Unfortunately, working on Darby Is Here Forever is still a hobby for us, and we can’t allow ourselves to work in our hobby as much as we wish.This doesn’t mean we won’t finish the game, the development is still ongoing, but at a different rate.   Greetings, creatures of the night, The team Darby (a.k.a Gaua Games) welcome you to Darby Is Here Forever with a (very) little resume of this year. Since June 2024 we’ve been raising Darby, giving him love and affection, trying to design a cool, engaging experience with just a few tools and our spare time, so we wanted to inform you about how it has been going.2024 was the year of planning, we were focused on Darby’s main mechanics feeling, as we progressed with other secondary elements and the design of a Demo level for Itch.io, where the game was shown for first time. On February 2025, we polished content at the same time we brought new elements, making a cool Demo that fulfil our standards.
