- Announcement- Roadmap update? - 13 August 2026
Hey Managers! As you've surely noticed, we're behind the roadmap we last announced, and we'd finally like to explain why. As you know, from the very start our small studio has been trying to build a game that's as realistic as possible. And we'll admit it, in some parts of the game we maybe took that realism a little too far :) It might not look like it, but a management game this big, with all the detail we want to put into it, is a huge amount of work, and some parts took us far longer (way longer) than we originally estimated. Since we announced Road to Major, several similar games have been announced and by now even released. So we've known for a while that we won't be the first to put out a game in this genre, and we decided there's no point rushing or fighting for extra visibility right now. We'd rather put a hundred percent of our focus into development. If nothing else, though, t…
- Dev Diary #9 – How is the Road To Major coming along - 2 June 2026
Hey Managers! A lot has shipped since the last diary, and we are thrilled to finally walk you through everything we have shipped over the past couple of months. A lot has happened, all of it good, so grab your coffee and let's celebrate some serious progress together.Let's kick off with our proudest achievement so far, the full tournament circuit and season simulation. This is the heart of the game, and we are confident that what we have built here has no real competition in the genre. We managed to recreate the vast majority of real-world circuits, with only a few exceptions that either pop up a couple of times a year or live in the lower tiers and sit lower on our priority list for now. Every invite, every bracket, every tournament is as authentic as it gets in a video game. When you load up a season, you will feel like you are stepping straight into the real esports calendar. Next up…
- Dev Diary #8 – Player stats and retirement - 23 February 2026
Hey Managers!Today we are diving deep into a topic that many of you have requested we touch upon in our recent community discussions. It is the one thing no pro player can escape, no matter how fast their flick shots are or how deep their map knowledge goes, the inevitable passage of time. A common question we receive is what actually happens to players as they reach a certain age, and to answer that properly, we need to pull back the curtain on the internal mechanics that drive a player's career path.To keep the simulation feeling grounded and realistic every player in the game is defined by a set of variables that dictate their journey. These are Potential, Peak Age and Peak Duration. Potential determines the absolute ceiling of their talent and how high they can rise. Peak Age defines the exact moment a player hits their maximum level. Once they reach this age their development stops…
- Dev Diary #7 – What have we been up to? - 13 February 2026
Hey Managers! It has been a little while since our last check-in, and the logical question for you to ask is what we have been up to. In this diary, we are going to dive into the massive milestones we have focused on over the past few weeks, what is coming up next, and exactly what you should be getting excited about.Let’s start at the beginning with our biggest mountain to climb, the integration of tournaments. It might look like a simple task from the outside, but the struggle was real. As many of you know, the world of esports is filled with a dizzying variety of brackets, seeding rules, and overall structures. We needed to create a system that mimics real-world professional circuits while remaining flexible enough to work for almost any event. Whether it is handling different formats, multiple stages, varying time zones, or tournaments that serve as qualifiers for even bigger ones, t…
- Dev Diary #6 – How to be a finance bro! - 10 November 2025
Hey Managers!Alright, grab your coffee! We took a short break from Dev Diary last month to prepare for the second Closed Beta, but now we’re back, and it’s time to talk about the one thing that can make or break your road to glory. Money, baby! Every great team starts somewhere, and so does every budget. When you begin your journey, the amount of cash in your pocket depends on the team you pick. If you’re brave enough to build your own squad from scratch, you’ll start with roughly 50,000 in the bank. Sounds like a nice cushion until the bills roll in and reality hits. Every month, the costs pile up. Your players want their salaries, your staff expect their paychecks, the HQ isn’t going to maintain itself, and your merch doesn’t print for free. Suddenly that comfortable balance starts to look a little less shiny. Managing an esports org isn’t just about drafting the best talent, it’s abo…

The focus was on guiding a team through a full tournament cycle, giving players a taste of what it's like to manage an esports squad. You could either take control of one of 16 existing teams or create your own from an established roster core. A key component of the beta was the live match simulation. All matches were played on the map Inferno, where managers could influence the game directly by calling a timeo…

- Dev Diary #0 – The Vision - 4 March 2025
Hello everybody! Today we would like to kick-off a series of Dev Diaries about our upcoming game Esport Manager: Road to Major. In these monthly blog posts, we will try to introduce individual features of the game and explain how they will work. This first entry will be about a general overview of the game and its vision. So let’s get right into it. If we would describe the game in a single sentence for you it would probably be: “Less complex ‘football’ manager with First Person Shooter Esport teams”. Hopefully that sounds as good to you, as it sounded to us. In the past, we've been working on two mobile racing games and for a long time we also wanted to make a game on Steam. So we started thinking, what would be the best genre for our first game on PC and we settled on a management focus game. Why did we go with the Esport FPS? Simply because all of us played and enjoyed their fair sha…
