• Retiring Chess 2 - 31 May 2026

  Unfortunately, Chess 2: The Sequel never had sufficient sales to financially justify keeping the server online, much less been able to pay for it's development. As a consequence, the servers stopped working long ago. Sadly, there is no way to bring them back online as some important files have been lost. Rather than have anyone pay for the game and be met with a down server, I've decided to take the game out of the store permanently. Thanks for those who played and enjoyed the game.

• [Update] Challenge your friends - 21 September 2014

  You can now challenge anybody to an unranked game in correspondence mode. It looks like this - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=317164491 There is a limit of one game vs any particular person at a given time, so players you are already playing will have a grey color and won't be selectable. There is also a resolution select dialog where you can specify a resolution at launch, or play in windowed mode.
