Players must balance life support, complex thermodynamics, and resource management to build their planetary and orbital outposts. Rise to power through economic leverage or ruthless military might. Thermodynamics Space Stations employ a thermal simulation with more depth than your ordinary space station simulation. The player will need to use a variety of nodes, including simple heat exchangers, heat pumps, and black-body radiators, to move heat from the atmosphere to a liquid thermal mass and dump it into the vast expanse of space as IR radiation. Every liquid circuit on the station can be used as a thermal mass, but beware of unexpected consequences when heating random fluids. Atmosphere Composition Only thin metal walls separate your crew from the vacuum of space. You will need to take care of the limited air you have, as replenishment is not a viable option. Too much CO2 and you poison your population, too little and the crops die. Without oxygen, your people can't breathe, but too much and your station may burst into flames.
