  Minor under-the-hood-only code tweek to English language paid version. Paid versions in non-English languages get MINI-DUEL mode and a few visual improvements from the free version now, but not updates to the RULES panels (until I translate, format and create them). For now, the paid non-English versions will have the same features as the paid English version, but the 5 x 4 mode and MINI-DUEL mode will not be mentioned in the RULES - they'll be a "pleasant added surprise" for now.

• 2025-11-06 Minor Update - 7 November 2025

  Created a free version called LOCUS POKER MINI-DUEL that only uses MINI-DUEL mode - 5 x 4 grid, 2-timed games (same cards each game), only the ROBOT opponent, and a 20 second timer. It is in English only for now. Paid versions in all languages will get MINI-DUEL mode and a few visual improvements from the free version at a later date. However, the English version will get the free version's MINI-DUEL mode now to make sure anyone upgrading from the English free version to the English paid version (and uninstalls the free version) will not lose any functionality.

  Reduced dimensions of more unnecessarily large visual assets to reduce memory usage and fixed an issue that was causing one small visual asset to repeatedly load which in turn was causing memory issues and instability on some machines. (Thank you Steam user A******* for helping me figure this one out).

  Added to English language version only: (1) "QUESO-BOT CHALLENGE!" mode that tracks a player's per-session winning streak in the most difficult single player configuration - which is: Player 1 = QUESO-BOT; Player 2 = HUMAN; Grid = 6x5; and (2) A "TIPS FOR PLAY" panel that gives a few tips for play and tells players how to start/enter "QUESO-BOT CHALLENGE!" mode. You can see this panel on the Start Screen (not during game play) by pressing or clicking on the RULES OF PLAY panel.

  Simplified Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, and Japanese language versions received the same "QUESO-BOT" new computer opponent update that the English language version got on 2024-10-01. It seems as though this new 8th computer opponent is the toughest for a human to beat.

  Added new 8th computer opponent "QUESO-BOT" to English language version. QUESO-BOT seems to be the strongest opponent against humans. Time will tell if this is true. This update is planned for other versions once localized names for "QUESO-BOT" are chosen.
