• Upcoming Content! Boss Fight! - 4 May 2026

  I've started working on the spectacular ending of the main warehouse adventure. Making a boss fight level needs a lot of custom solutions, so it will take a lot longer to make than the regular levels. While waiting for that you can check out the feature branch, called preview, which has recently been updated with two new levels. Check this discussion thread on how to access it.The preview branch will also be updated with an optional first person view mode soon. The first person mode is likely to be a bit glitchy in some occasions but the popular opinion seems to be to keep it anyway. A giraffe can be driven to extreme measures:First person view test:

It did not take long for NeckStep scarfs to become popular, but since this is obviously a market with fierce competition in a world taken over by giraffes, they decided to diversify into other markets.NeckStep Agile 2000The smallest and more agile forklift in the NeckStep line. This electric 3-wheeled workhorse is the backbone of most giraffe-run warehouses. It struggles to carry larger loads but is the perfect vehicle for tight spaces. • Pallets and other forkables! - 13 February 2026

  Most of the forkables are pallets with various cargo, but some are not, like the construction parts, cars, paper rolls and trailers. Trailers and the paper rolls require special attachment to the forklift.Here are the forkables currently available in the game:There will likely be a few more, but this the bulk of them.

• A cranetastic update to the demo! - 6 January 2026

  The updated demo has new(more) music tracks and replaces an old level with a new one. The new level features the almighty crane! Capable of lifting both forklifts and pallets!In addition there's a few minor bug-fixes, improvements and new accessories for your giraffe and vehicles.

  I've just added the largest forklift to the game, this is a big diesel truck capable of lifting large pallets, the medium sized forklift and maybe even cargo containers.

  The demo has just been updated with some minor bugfixes but most notably an additional level has been added. This level gives our hardworking giraffe a new vehicle to master.Dive in now while the new level leaderboard is still empty!

• Optimized for Steam Deck - 17 May 2025

  Optimized for Steam Deck Extreme Forklifting 3 is working perfectly on the Steam Deck. I've done a lot of testing and some tweaking to make sure EF3 is running perfectly on the Steam Deck, the game runs at a solid 60 fps at all times, and if you disable vsync and unlock the frame-rate it will even go up to about 170-ish fps. EF3 works best with a game-pad so the controls on the Steam Deck is really great.
