- Preview – Usual Suspects content update - 28 November 2025
Knock-knock! Good news in the world of the scorching sun are scarce. Same as water. And we are here to quench your metaphorical thirst with another update preview. Now at least 2x times juicer! So, we’re not about to have a content drought here. Good to know. But what can you expect come Christmas? Well, let’s see: 12 new guests — each with their own personality and dialogues. But you already know this part, so here’s another teaser with more new faces: 6 extra character events — fleshing out stories and personalities for more guests. Tense, horrifying or just plain absurd. We hope that none of them will leave you disappointed: One more ending — the perfect one for the more antisocial (or tragically unlucky) of the House owners out there; Additional dream sequence — shroom-themed. Maybe even tastes like them, if you dream hard enough; Return of a certain killer feature — go back, to the…
- Nominate No, I'm not a Human for Steam Awards 2025! - 24 November 2025
Hi there! We indie devs love saying how thankful we are for our players. And we mean it every time! For us it’s impossible to find this transformative experience of connecting with the fans anywhere else. Only in video games made by small to medium sized teams. So thank you for supporting us and continuing to share your thoughts and fan art on No, I’m not a Human. We’re still working on the upcoming content update, which is almost done. And there will be a post with more previews coming later this week. Actually, you know what? Here’s another teaser from it right away. They don’t call him Wolfhound for nothing. But, while we are diligently working on it, a certain noise started following us around. Not a knock this time. It was a buzz. Hard to escape during the day, and pursuing us into the night. It’s the buzz of Steam Awards 2025 Nominations! There are a lot of very strong contenders…
- Patch #2 - 27 October 2025
General: The Mushroomhead now properly visits you only after you complete the game at least once (excluding the ending where you get killed); The Mushroomhead now also properly appears after reloading; Changed the Exit key for French keyboard layout (AZERTY) to be A instead of Q; After you decode the message on the radio, you can speed it up by holding Shift on keyboard or the Right Trigger on the gamepad; Fixed an issue where Pretty Thing’s baby wouldn’t show up in the appropriate hiding places. What can we say, he was too good at hiding! Also improved the checks for the Pretty Thing’s belly growth process, so it would save the states more reliably. Let us know if you still see it roll back to a normal state; It’s no longer possible to click your self into a softlock by interacting with the TV or the bed multiple times; Fixed the issue where you could no longer interact with beer after…
- 500k copies sold and upcoming update teaser - 14 October 2025
Trioskaz! Open up! We’re here to say thank you to everyone who has supported the game. And we won’t take no for an answer. No, I’m not a Human has sold over 500 000 copies to date! It feels surreal to have this many people play your game, draw tons of amazing fan art and discuss it online. Stunning contrast of human connection and a game about isolation. Thank you, truly! We will forever cherish this moment, and every other milestone shared with you. Of course, we’re not settling down or instantly moving to another project. Our utmost priority right now is to fix all the annoying bugs and make some QoL adjustments. However, be it as important as it is, this might not sound especially interesting. Well, we agree – and plan to add new content as well! For exa~ \... hold up, someone’s at the door. Right on cue!Yup, we’ll be adding new guests! 12 new guests to be precise. All of them being…

- 100k copies sold – What’s next? - 19 September 2025
Knock-knock-knock. It’s us. Carrying a bag of improvements we’re set to deliver – based on your feedback! So let’s talk about them. First, it was apparent that the current save system might be too punishing. Sure, we’ve wanted for it to feel meaningful and scarce, but not punishing. At least not in a sense of punishing you for having a life outside of playing games. As such, we’re planning to introduce the save on quit feature. It does exactly what you’d expect: automatically saving your game when you decide it’s enough anxiety and dread for today, and press Quit. The save is going to be rewritten each time you quit, though, and isn’t accessible outside of pressing the “Continue” button. Also, keep in mind that quitting via Alt+F4 doesn’t save the game, and you won’t be able to save via this feature on the final day of any ending. On the plus side though, your manual saves will stay aft…
- Patch 1.1.13 - 19 September 2025
QoL Features: Added save on quit feature Manual saves no longer get deleted on game completion Now, after completing the game at least once (specifically with end credits) and starting a new walkthrough, you're able to skip the 1st day (the tutorial with the Neighbor) Fixes: Fixed an issue where phone numbers and character identities would get randomized upon reloading Fixed an issue where not all 3 cultists would enter your house. The prodigal son has returned. FEMA agents no longer target characters with whom the player interacts more often than others Various localization fixes for multiple languages
- Hotfix #2 - 16 September 2025
- Fixed the issue, where saving at the start of the night and subsequent reloading would cause any nightly guests to disappear, softlocking the game; - Changed Japanese font to DotGothic (except for button prompts) - Updated character atlas for Korean language, hopefully eliminating any missing symbols in Korean localization.
- I was terrified of answering the door before playing this freaky-faced apocalyptic horror, and honestly it hasn't helped - 16 September 2025
They took him! They took the butt ugly bloke who was squatting in the bathroom! The one who kept insisting that the sun's burning heat was cleansing the Earth of sin and, totally unconnected from that I assume, was divorced. Those hazmat-suited fiends! I ought to give them a piece of my mind. I bloody well will do, just as soon as I've worked out who's turned two of my other guests into neatly arranged bin bags of dead parts. My suspicions are firmly lodged at the feet of the toothless and fish-faced nun who ended up the only one in that room left alive, and my trigger finger's itchy. Read more
- Hotfix #1 - 15 September 2025
- German language fixes and edits -- the game should function properly now, when playing in German. Let us know if you find any other issues with this localization! - Fixed one of the Cultists not appearing in the Collection -- previously, you needed to speak with every Cultist. Now the entry is added if you just agree to accept them into your house.
