  To Players on Steam Deck: Hello there! I haven't forgotten about you, and I'm working on making sure this game is fully playable to you, in the best state it possibly can. As of now, the demo should be fully playable using a controller layout I have created myself. Please follow the steps listed below to give it a shot: With the game running, open Controller Layouts in the Steam Deck menu. Select the so-called "Official Layout" in order to change it. Change tabs over to the "Community Layouts". If no community layouts show up, press the "X" button to "Show all Layouts" Select the layout uploaded by me, titled "GavLov's Steam Deck Profile". Some Notes The layout should work out of the box, somewhat as a hybrid of the gamepad controls and the Mouse Controls. • Demo Version 0.7.73 Patch Notes - 25 September 2024

  Improvements Multiple Save Files ! Players can now have up to 3 different concurrent save files ! Save file can be chosen chosen upon selecting "New Game" or "Load Game" from the main menu. Prior save files will NOT be affected. Ambient Music Added for demo finale Added music by the ever-talented Tired Mutt to be played during the demo finale sequence. Fixes Minor Fixes Pause Menu will no longer block access to main menu. Autosaves now happen more consistently, to better track progress regardless of how/when the game is quit. Options menu item for altering text size is now labeled as "Subtitle Size" for more clarity. Not So Minor Fixes Patched a potential softlock on a particular Day 7 dialogue sequence. Oops!

  WE MADE IT Y'ALL The demo for BARPG is officially live, and playable now. Was there a potentially game-breaking bug that needed to be patched immediately? Of course, this is a game launch after all. But I couldn't be happier with the reception so far, and I look forward to everyone playing the game in the near future. Please feel free to leave feedback with the button on the main menu, all input is welcome to make this game the best it can possibly be! If the main menu screen does NOT display V0.7.7 in the bottom right corner, please do right click on the game in your library, press 'Properties', then 'Installed Files' to perform the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" step once.
