• Shutting down game - 18 August 2025

  Thank you for playing. The source code is available at https://github.com/ReconquerOnline/reconquer-engine. If there's interest, hopefully there can be a community run version one day.

• New Quest and Area: Miner Favor! - 7 April 2025

  A new area has opened up to the south. Make your way through a dungeon and help a preeminent geological renaissance man.

• Innocent Blood Raid - 18 February 2025

  There's a new master quest Innocent Blood. Can you destroy the dragon deep in the volcano core? There have also been a large number of other updates: There is now an equipment interface where you can see equipment stats and unequip items. Players can now build barricades to block other players or monsters. The wasteland has been expanded and there is now a mineable nickel rock. There are new character configuration options. • Player Controlled Resources and a New Quest - 24 December 2024

  Monsters now drop an "essence" that can be used to guard a port or mine from other players. While you own it, you'll slowly acquire resources from it. Other player can come and defeat your guards though. There is also now a pack mule that can carry your extra gear. Finally, there is a new chicken themed quest. Help the farmer with his rowdy chicken. There have also been bug fixes for lag when switching segments and for macroing actions.

• Unlimited Playtime, New Tutorial, and Much More! - 2 December 2024

  There is now unlimited playtime for all accounts! Pathfinding and keyboard controls have also been added which should greatly improve the player experience. There is a new tutorial island and extended tutorial quest. There are also optional helpers to explain the controls and guide players through the new quest. If you want to redo the tutorial, you can start a new character by using the reset icon in the bottom-right dialogue. There are two new quests, "Royal Gardener" and "Fight Arena". There are two new bosses, Pydar and the Water Goblin. There is a new lever puzzle and best-in-slot pick axe and hatchet. There is now herb farming. There are now sound effects. Now is a great time to give the game another try!
