Dungeons of Havoc is an action fantasy game with intense physics-driven combat and deep melee fighting mechanics. Adventure through a hand-crafted linear open-world with relentless, heart-pounding encounters, fearsome monsters, and a wide array of unique and powerful items to discover. Engage in combat using light and heavy melee attacks with a three-part combo system that triggers when you hold the attack button. Block or parry melee and projectile attacks to negate damage and stagger your opponent when timed correctly. Blocking drains stamina, while parrying increases it. NPCs make combat decisions based on their intelligence, weight, and preferences. Their movement uses modern pathfinding, similar to 3D games, with no patterns that players need to memorize. Each playthrough uses a random seed to alter all monsters' stats. A simple, retro 2D pixel art world with multiple biomes, featuring rich ambient sounds and original orchestral music. The world follows a mostly linear path, eliminating the need for a map and ensuring it's always clear where to go next. Each area includes a teleport shrine that must be visited before it can be used for fast travel. Minimal interface: no inventory management or skill systems.
