You are a Bombseeker. Walk from the entrance to the exit without standing on a bomb. There is no clicking tiles across the map. Everything happens through your character: to learn what is on a tile, you have to walk onto it. Stepping on one reveals how many of the eight tiles around it hold a bomb, so every number is earned one step at a time, and the board only tells you as much as you were willing to risk finding out. Flags cost money, so caution has a price. Hold the flag key and tap a direction to mark the tile beside you. A flagged tile is safe to stand on and stays hidden, which is how you cross ground you cannot afford to test and, on some boards, it is the only way through at all. But flags are bought in the Store at 5 coins each, and any flag still on the board when the level ends is gone, whether you finished or died. Marking bombs correctly pays better than the flags cost you. Guessing does not. Nine regions, forty-five fixed boards. From the tutorials of Alanther out through the Gold Coast, and the Sands. The Lakeside Plains, the Swamps, the Emerald Peninsula, the Forrest, the Tundra and finally the Dark Forrest all come with the full game. Water you cannot cross, bridges that are not part of the puzzle, trees and cacti that block the way (never hiding a bomb). Difficulty is not board size: the Sands sprawl and stay gentle, while smaller boards squeeze the open ground until every remaining tile sits next to something.
