  I'm very happy to announce that Skingdom will release in early access at the end of the year 🎉Why? What’s changing? All these questions will find their answers just below 👇Why?🤷The initial plan was to release Skingdom at the end of the year and add content along the way if the sales allowed me to continue working on the game. Content would be available as free updates for the gameplay features and DLC's for the additional lifts and buildings. The initial plan was to have 4 major content updates with 4 DLC's priced around 3 to 5€. After a lot of thought I am not happy with this solution anymore. First, Skingdom is too important for me, I won’t stop working on it after its release at the end of the year, whatever happens. • Terraforming 🗻 - 30 July 2025

  Hello there 👋I kind of missed the timing for updates here… sorry… 😬But here is a small but cool update about terraforming in Skingdom! Last month I reworked the terraforming tool and I though that you would be interested to learn more about this! 🗻So, in Skingdom you will be able to terraform the terrain to shape the mountain to your liking. It will be an expansive operation but it will be useful in some situations. 🏂The most important tool will be the “flatten” tool that will allow you to set the height of the mountain evenly. This will be very useful to create a flat area to start building your resort.Three other tools will allow you to rise, lower and smooth the terrain to create unique shapes.Here is the rising tool in action 👆By default you will not be able to touch the terrain where there are already structures placed (buildings, lifts or slopes) to prevent creating problemat…

  Hi everyone 👋 and welcome to the realm of ski 🚠 In this dev' update I will talk about the lifts of Skingdom. There will be four different types of lifts : - Ski lifts (sometimes called “Surface lifts”) - Chair lifts - Gondola lifts - Cable car lifts Each lift type will have its own appearance of course but also different properties that will make them more or less fitted for some situations. In this first update we will talk about chair lifts, and I will introduce the other lift types in the future! Well, with fixed chair lifts the vehicle is attached to the cable all the time, so the chairs will move at the same speed as the cable through all the track.   Hello fellow ski resort builders 👋😎 I’m happy to write this first small blog post in which I will give you more details about Skingdom 🚠 Today, let me introduce you the talent system, which is a gameplay mechanic I personally love 😁 So, in Skingdom you will be able to unlock talent points in two ways : - Spending a predetermined amount of money - Reaching some key points in the life of your ski resort (like welcoming 250 guests or building your 20th slope) Then, unlock talents by spending points in one of the three talent trees : - Ecology - Company - Development Each tree contains 16 unique talents that will help you improve your resort in different ways. Additionally, each tree will offer you 4 “special” talents that will only be available when spending 4, 6, 8 and 10 points in it.
