• The Funk Rework - 14 May 2025

  The Valiant Vessel, AKA Funk, AKA the second character on the character select, has received a rework to make them more on par with the Volitional Vessel, AKA Monk, AKA the third character on the character select. When you dash into an enemy, you can pick another direction to dash towards. This can be done indefinitely until you hit a wall, or are countered by an enemy (Example: You dash into a Crab's claw, ending your dash chain). Every other dash performed this way will grant an extra letter, so try to string together long chains of dashes! If you just wish to dash once, you can press space to enter the regular player state again.

• Small Patch - 6 November 2024

  Beating the game as Gobbledygunk would get you the Steam Achievement, but would not count for 100%. This has been fixed.

• Happy Halloween! Introducing Leaderboards and new Virulent Enemies! - 30 October 2024

  HAPPY HALLOWEEN! To celebrate the Halloween season, I have added one more challenge to the game... Virulent Mode! Reach Wave 50 as any character, and Virulent Mode will be unlocked! Enemies will all be replaced by Virulent versions of themselves, with new behaviors! New letter and wave milestone achievements have been added for each character, so go hunt for those achievements! Oh yeah, and Steam Leaderboards are a thing now. Happy Halloween!

• Patch 2 - 14 October 2024

  Virulent Vessels patch 2! Fixed a *very* obscure bug where if u had the old version of VV downloaded from itch way back when, the game would crash when u tried to open the steam version. Also, added a control screen, since I never had one before... Oops. Sorry to everyone who was confused! Also, the game moves a bit faster now.

  Howdy everyone! Fixed a small bug where the game would crash in Luca's training room. Oh yeah, and Crabs have been made easier to deal with. So if you're stuck on a level with Crabs, then get back in there!
