Hello, Talewardens and fellow cowfolks!We're excited to announce our second major demo update!After much consideration, we've decided to add some new features to our game. So we did! To make it cohesive with the demo, we added the features there, too.Here's what you can expect from the update:Character customization: You can now customize your Talewarden in a western-style wanted poster.Player page in the journal: Your new, customized character will always appear when you open the journal.Objectives: To avoid confusion, we added a section to the player page that lists the current objectives.The pink-haired merchant from Cradletown finally has a name! They didn't have a name because players can't reveal that they don't know each other in the game. It bothered us for some time, so there it is! So get ready to discover some new goodies!New features in the demo:You can now talk to all 7 companions who will be available in the full game (previously only 5 were accessible).We added a gift system! You can give companions items you’ve found. Hello, Talewardens!We just released the extended version of the demo!Now, in the demo you can play the first half of Act I and interact with the journal, which summarises information about the mysteries and characters you discover. The demo also contains point-and-click elements, a travel mechanic, and a campfire where you can talk and bond with your companions.We've also prepared a short survey where you can share your experience with the demo. - Big dev update and happy pride! 🏳️🌈 - 17 June 2025
Hello Talewardens!Act II is almost finished!Now in Act II, you will be able to visit 13 locations, talk to your companions at 5 campfires, and watch a shadow puppet show at one of them. We have created 12 new backgrounds, 6 new CGs, 4 new characters' sprites and updated 4 old ones, and made many additional graphics. All that's left to do is to add an extra place to visit (which may or may not lead to your kidnapping later 😉) and make final adjustments.After that, we will revise Act I and start working on Act III!Here's an example of recent changes. - Demo and development update! - 12 December 2024
Hello Talewardens! We have changed some details in the demo to make it more similar to the final product, such as adding more expressions and sprite poses, and changing the text of some UI elements. We also added point-and-click elements you can interact with while exploring some locations in the game! We are currently working on Act II of the game. We expect the entire game to consist of three or four acts plus endings. We have almost finished the script, but there is still a lot of work to be done. We’ll keep you posted on any major developments!
