Hello everyone! Unity recently announced a potential vulnerability issue in older versions of their engine 2017 and newer. I’ve updated Path to Serenity to the latest patched version of Unity recommended and released a new build. Hi everyone, I'm pleased to announce that Path to Serenity will be released on the 16th of June. It has been an incredible journey to reach this milestone, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has provided feedback and support along the way. Path to Serenity will be available on Steam, Itch.io, and the Humble Store starting June 16th. For every unit sold on these platforms, I will donate $0.10 to the Safe in Our World charity. Exciting Collaboration Announcement! Hello everyone! I am thrilled to announce a meaningful collaboration with Safe in Our World - The Video Games Mental Health Charity. Mental health has been a personal journey for me since childhood, and supporting this cause means a lot to my solo dev studio. Hey everyone! With Rise of the Village Hero now at version 1.0, I’m excited to shift my focus entirely to Path to Serenity. First, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who played the demo during Steam Next Fest and added the game to their wishlist—your support truly means a lot to me! I’ve been working hard to implement the feedback I received from the festival. One of the key improvements is the addition of subtitles while Jim speaks, making the game more accessible. These are still being refined, but I’m pleased with the progress so far. I’ve also focused on improving the overall gameplay flow to create a smoother and more immersive experience. For example, I’ve added reminders to help players navigate tasks, addressing feedback about being stuck—such as in the office chair task. Hey everyone! I've managed to set up the demo and it's ready for you to try out. It's a bit nerve-wracking, but here it is. The demo is now live and will remain so until March 4th. I'm open to receiving feedback and will gladly make updates as needed to address any bugs or issues that are discovered with the demo. Overall, the demo is quite short, offering about 15-20 minutes of gameplay if you explore everything, and even less if you focus strictly on the tasks and objectives. Hey everyone! Welcome to Devlog 1! I’ll aim to keep these posts regular, at least once a month. Here’s what I’ve been working on this month for Path to Serenity: I’m continuing to add more interactions to the world. I’ve built a flexible system that allows me to reuse the same scripts to create tasks, objectives, and interactive items. This month, I’ve focused on adding more of these elements to enhance the story and provide players with a deeper understanding of what’s happening. Path to Serenity is all about exploration—completing tasks by interacting with objects, and this is a key aspect of the game’s design. I’ve added new interactive elements to the office scene: A resignation letter from a staff member, Ewan, which the boss crumples, showing his lack of care. A letter turned into an airplane, where the boss asks everyone to work hard and promises a pizza party on Friday. A letter…
