• Challenge Mode Balancing & Engine Upgrade - 23 August 2026

  BALANCING? With Challenge Mode's release, we got a lot of feedback about the harder difficulties being far too dependent on luck. Of course, luck is a major part of Feed The Pit no matter what. However, some specific combos created scenarios which were unsurvivable regardless of your skill... boooo not fun!! The most severe combination has been Roaming Cardmaster + Exploding Cards, so, we've done a bit of work to hopefully prevent this from being an issue as often, and buffed some other things to help balance it out. Now, hopefully, the amount of deaths to sheer bad luck will hopefully be far less! But still not none. Because we are evil and stuff.Also, to anyone who's beaten SUFFER pre-patch... The 8 presets allow tailor-made challenges of increasing difficulty, and there's also 63 NEW QUESTIONS to ask the various cultists in the Challenge Mode hideout.
