Hello Thieves and Guardians! 🏰💰 Welcome back! Since the last Devlog, we've encountered many challenges and have been working hard to overcome them. We've begun testing our game and have fixed many bugs based on these tests. ✅ What’s New? Stealable items have been placed all around the map. We’ve upgraded the lighting and added extra lights for dynamic (non-static) objects. We don't want thieves to memorize item locations, so stealable objects now spawn randomly in balanced spots across the map. We fixed bugs in the Guardian's animations. Crouching has been added to the game. The in-game UI design is almost finished. (We’re making small tweaks based on testing.) Our musicians have added a brand-new soundtrack to the game. Exit doors have been added so thieves can escape after stealing, and their animations are complete. ⚒️ What Are We Working On? NPCs that thieves can blend in with are…

Hello Thieves and Guardians! 🏰💰 Greetings again! We've been hard at work since our last Devlog, and we decided that now is the right time to bring you an update with our second development log! Here’s what we’ve been working on: ✅ What’s New? We are continuing to improve our first map, the Palace. A new Cellar room has been added. The lighting in the map has been reworked, with smoother color transitions and major optimizations. The number of interactive objects in the map has increased, and stealable items have been placed. Escape hatches have been added to specific locations on the map. (Details will be revealed later!) In certain situations, these hatches will activate, giving thieves an additional escape route. Animations for interactive objects such as doors, chests, cabinets, and drawers have been adjusted and placed in the map. Extra doors have been added to rooms to improve ga…

Hello Thieves and Guards! 🏰💰 Greetings! We are Doin' Together Games, and we’re excited to share our first Devlog about our 1v4 multiplayer thief-vs-guard themed game currently in development. In this devlog series, we’ll discuss the development process, new mechanics, challenges we face, and future plans. In this first entry, we’ll go over the core gameplay mechanics and recent updates. 🎯 Game Concept Our game features a battle between 4 thieves and 1 guard. The thieves’ goal is to steal a certain amount of gold from the palace and escape, while the guard’s duty is to identify and stop them. Thieves can disguise themselves as NPCs to blend in and move unnoticed. The guard, on the other hand, must observe suspicious behavior to detect real players. Here are the core mechanics: Disguise System: Thieves can take on the appearance of random NPCs within the palace. Stealing Mechanic: Gold…
