  • A special Treatment for the nightmare - 18 September 2026

Have you ever played a game and felt nostalgic before it even ended? That strange feeling of wanting to hold onto every room, every sound, every breath, because you already know you're about to leave a world you'll never experience in quite the same way again. That’s exactly what we wanted the Deluxe Edition of Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy to be: a way to stay inside that world a little longer. The Digital Deluxe Edition (€39.99) includes the complete game, a nearly 100-page digital artbook, and a full digital soundtrack featuring 25 tracks, including 3 bonus studio-session pieces, composed by the legendary Akira Yamaoka. The artbook takes you behind the nightmare, from exclusive character details and animation frames to detailed 3D renders of Ashmann Villa, the Cristo Morente convent, and the catacombs beneath them. It explores the Sicilian cultural influences behind the game, its symb…

  • A milestone worth celebrating - 16 September 2026

100,000 wishlists. Seeing Remothered reach this milestone is something truly special for everyone on the team. It means that 100,000 of you have chosen to keep an eye on the game, follow its development, and wait to see where this new chapter of the Remothered universe will take you. Thank you! Your support, your discussions, your theories, and especially your feedback have already had a real impact on the game. Following our most recent playtest and Gamescom hands-on by the press, the team has been carefully going through the feedback you shared with us. We want to reaffirm our commitment to listening to the community and, wherever possible, integrating your feedback into the game. Remothered is being shaped not just by our original vision, but also by the people who have been following and supporting this journey. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but reaching 100,000 wishlist…

  • The Red Nun at Gamescom - 2 September 2026

Hello everyone! Last week, the Red Nun made her way to Germany. The Stormind team was at Gamescom, where the game was shown exclusively to journalists and media from all over the world. It was a particularly exciting moment for us, coming just after our recent player playtest. First, we gave our community the chance to get their hands on the game and tell us what they thought. Then, during Gamescom, we had the opportunity to put Red Nun’s Legacy in front of members of the international press and let them experience it for themselves. After years of development, seeing people outside the team finally play the game, react to its atmosphere, ask questions and dig into its world is something we won't take for granted. Throughout the week, the Stormind team met with partners, publishers, journalists, old friends and new faces, sharing what we've been working on and talking about the future o…

  • Mark your calendar. Lock your doors... - 17 August 2026

The wait is almost over. After years of shadows, nightmares, secrets, and more than a few things we probably shouldn’t have disturbed, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is finally getting close. This chapter has been a long journey for us. Many of you have been patiently waiting through hints, teases, and every small update we’ve been able to share so far. We haven’t forgotten. In fact, we’ve made sure that when the Remothered saga returns, it does so with the dark, unsettling weight it deserves. We’ve spent a lot of time shaping this new chapter, building its world, its atmosphere, and the nightmares waiting inside it. We wanted the environment to feel alive, almost predatory. Every corridor, every reflection you see will keep you uneasy and make you question what’s real and what’s memory bleeding through the cracks. Check out our release date trailer! The Stalkers are never far. Their pres…

  • Founder's Access: thank you for being part of it - 31 July 2026

Founder's Access just came to an end, and before moving on to anything else, we wanted to stop and thank you all. It gave us a week of first reactions: first steps into the villa, first encounters with the Bride, first theories about Gloria's lore, and now we've gone through every piece of feedback you sent us. Not just the numbers, though those matter too. 90.5% of you rated the experience positive or very positive. 89.4% told us they didn't want to stop playing once it ended. But behind every one of those numbers is a person who chose to spend their time helping us make Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy better, and that's not something we take for granted. This is what Founder's Access exists for: real feedback, from real players, early enough that it can help us improve for the step ahead. If you were part of Founder's Access, you already know what you gave us. If you weren't able to join…

We are excited to announce that Remothered: Tormented Fathers Remastered and Remothered: Broken Porcelain Remastered are coming soon. You kept this saga alive. These Remastered editions exist because of that, and they are built with everything you told us over the years. WHAT WILL CHANGE We are rebuilding both titles in Unreal Engine 5. Lighting reconstructed with Lumen dynamic global illumination. Reworked environments with higher-resolution assets and Nanite technology. Refined character models. Redesigned UI and menus. Updated cinematics. Bugs resolved across both games. And the gameplay, the tension, the atmosphere, the balance? Untouched. Exactly as you remember it, sharper than you have ever seen it. • Inside the story - 1 June 2026

The second Dev Diary for Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy is here, and this time we're going straight to the heart of the story: what this final chapter is really about, and why it had to be told this way.Chief Creative Officer Daniele Azara and Narrative Director Luca Esposito sit down to talk about the game's roots in Italian horror cinema, with Argento standing as a clear point of reference, and how that influence shapes the tone of Red Nun's Legacy. But this isn't just an aesthetic homage. The team dives into the heavier material running underneath it: family bonds pushed to their breaking point, love that doesn't always protect, and trauma that gets passed down before anyone realizes it's happening. You'll also get a real look at how the creative direction is coming together, from new mechanics to the narrative layers building around three women whose stories are bound together in ways…

  • The story trailer is here - 15 May 2026

The new story trailer for Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy is here, and it pulls back the curtain on Susan's search, the mystery surrounding the Red Nun, and what's really waiting inside the walls of the Cristo Morente convent. Set against the volcanic landscapes of Sicily, in the shadow of Mt. Etna, the convent feels less like a building and more like an extension of the land itself: ancient, unstable, watching. Nothing here holds still long enough to be trusted. As you make your way through Red Nun's Legacy, you'll explore locations built on shadow and silence, work through environmental puzzles that demand patience, and piece together revelations that complicate more than they clarify. All the while, the Stalkers are never far behind, hunting you through a reality that keeps shifting under your feet. This chapter is our love letter to classic third-person survival horror: tight explorati…

  • Legendary composer Akira Yamaoka joins the team - 30 April 2026

We are proud to announce that Akira Yamaoka, the legendary composer behind the Silent Hill video game and film series, will compose the soundtrack for Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy. We’re talking about the architect of the musical language that redefined fear itself. His haunting, intimate, and deeply emotional soundscapes turned Silent Hill into an experience that lingers in your mind long after you’ve turned off the console. “Horror isn’t just about fear, but something that remains deep within the heart and memory. With Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, I wanted to create music that becomes one with the space, slowly seeping into the player and leaving a lasting, unexplainable feeling,” said Akira Yamaoka. “Working with Akira Yamaoka represents a defining moment for Stormind Games and for the entire Remothered journey. His work has shaped the identity of survival horror, and we are proud t…

  • Put your mental integrity to the test - 22 April 2026

In Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy, psychological tension isn't a layer added on top of the experience. It is the experience. The game doesn't try to frighten you with what it shows you. It works on what it makes you feel before anything appears at all.Every sense has a role to play in that process, and none of them are safe. The way a room smells wrong without explanation. The weight of a silence that lasts one second too long. The peripheral detail you can't decide whether you actually saw. Red Nun's Legacy is built around the idea that fear doesn't need to announce itself to take hold.Sound, in particular, has always been one of the saga's sharpest tools. The right noise at the right moment doesn't just startle you: it rewires how you read a room, how you move through it, how much you trust what you think you heard. In Red Nun's Legacy, one of the sounds you'll learn to live with is the…

  • Win a Steam Key to Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy - 8 April 2026

Remothered never really left, not really. Long after people assumed the saga was finished, you kept the conversation going: comparing theories, revisiting old playthroughs, telling other players why this series was worth their time. That's not something we take lightly, and it's a big part of why we're standing here today with Red Nun's Legacy.Echoes of Remothered is our way of putting something back in your hands for that. What is it, exactly?Think of it as a way to turn the energy you already bring to this community into something concrete. There's nothing to buy here: your access grows based on how many people you bring into the fold, so the more the saga's circle widens, the more you unlock for yourself. How it worksHit the sign-up button and register with your email. • Which other character is coming back? - 1 April 2026

The Red Nun has never really left. She isn't a villain with a motive you can pin down. She is something the saga built slowly, layer by layer, across two games, and Red Nun's Legacy is named after her for a reason. But the Remothered trilogy has never been a one-character story. Rosemary Reed, Gloria Ashmann, Celeste, Jen, Richard Felton: each of them carries a piece of a larger puzzle, and the threads between them were never fully resolved. Red Nun's Legacy is where those threads get pulled. Which means the question isn't just who survived long enough to return. It's who the story still owes something to.nWe have our own answer ready. But we want to hear yours first: which character do you need to see again, and what do you think is left unfinished for them? Drop your guess in the comments. Maybe you'll be right. Maybe you won't be ready for the truth either way. GET IN TOUCH Want to s…

  • Fear works in mysterious ways - 26 March 2026

Survival instinct can unlock powers you never knew you had… or is it all just a trick of your mind? Susan will stop at nothing to uncover the truth behind her daughter’s disappearance. What begins as a desperate search soon becomes a descent into something far less certain: a place where memory, perception, and fear begin to overlap until even the most familiar details feel corrupted. Every corridor she crosses seems to remember her footsteps. Every room feels like it has already decided what she is going to see before she enters it. The dark corridors she explores are not merely abandoned spaces, they are breathing archives of something unresolved. The mystery-filled rooms are layered with traces of lives interrupted, conversations never finished, and intentions that never fully revealed themselves. And somewhere within this silence, unseen stalkers move with patience that feels almost…

  • The Red Nun is back - 12 March 2026

Today marks a pivotal moment in our journey.During the Future Games Show Spring Showcase in San Francisco, we officially pulled back the curtain on Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the third chapter of the Remothered saga and conclusion to the survival horror story that began with Remothered: Tormented Fathers. The game is coming later this year, and we’re incredibly excited to finally share what we’ve been working on with both long-time fans and newcomers to the series. When we developed the first Remothered, our goal was to capture the tension and emotional intensity of classic third-person survival horror games, and the response from players around the world exceeded our expectations. With Red Nun’s Legacy, we wanted to honor and respect this, so we at Stormind Games took the reins of the project’s creative direction, development and publishing, and started working on a game that will d…
