- Anime Fest Demo Update: A New Way to Learn - 11 September 2026
It's been a while since the previous demo. There's a lot to catch up on: a rebuilt tutorial, Endless Run, a book of your discoveries, fresh artwork, and a long round of fixes to make your builds easier to follow. A new way to learn The tutorial has been rebuilt into 14 modules, taking you from your first Spin and Symbol combinations through Items, Followers, Quests, Threat, Skills, and Reincarnation. Each module has its own starting setup, so you can revisit a mechanic without restarting the whole tutorial. The tutorial book now includes illustrated explanations, module previews, and completion markers. Guided steps and contextual hints have also been revised, including help when you first encounter a stage with special conditions. Even if you've played before, we recommend starting here. Endless Run Build your Machine across a continuing sequence of stages. Choose your next encounter f…
- Demo Patch Notes v0.91 - 23 April 2026
The main change in this update: we replaced the temporary death screens with new finished art.Bug FixesIf you moved a symbol next to a symbol that was supposed to be destroyed, it sometimes wouldn’t get destroyed. This should now work correctly.Chips could sometimes disappear from the field. They should now stay visible and update properly.Quests could get marked as completed before the spin fully finished. Quest completion should now trigger at the correct time.In the tutorial, if you got an item before the Prosperity charge step, the tutorial could focus on the item instead of the empty cell. The tutorial should now highlight the correct target.
- Demo Patch Notes v0.90 - 20 April 2026
The main focus of this update is alternative story text for players who don’t want to read a lot.New: TL;DR Story ModeAdded a separate narration mode: TL;DR.You can choose it at the start of the game or enable it later in the Book settings.Quality of LifeAdded the first iteration of font settings and text typing speed controls right next to the Book so that everyone can tune it to their own comfort level.Bug FixesImproved localization for Japanese and Simplified Chinese.Fixed a bug where the progress bar in Random Level (during the goblin fight) could show incorrect values.Fixed incorrect behavior for several items and followers.Fixed various other small bugs.Note: This update is PC-only for now. We’ll ship the Mac build a bit later and announce it when it’s live.
- Demo Patch Notes v0.89 - 15 April 2026
We’re still preparing for release, so this demo update is basically one big change.Quality of LifeWe rewrote the descriptions for all symbols, items, and followers. We now use a text tag system and a more consistent description format (or at least we’re trying to). The goal is to make everything easier to read and faster to understand. This is the first iteration, so there will almost certainly be mistakes or awkward phrasing. We’ll keep polishing and updating the text as we go.Bug FixesMinor bug fixes
- Demo Patch Notes v0.88 - 10 April 2026
This build is focused on Random Run visuals, readability, and a few quality-of-life fixes.Quality of LifeAfter finishing a Random Run, you now return to the main menu instead of being sent to the bookshelf screen.Art / VisualsAll characters in Random Run have been replaced with human-drawn versions.Reworked how chips on tiles are animated. It should now be much clearer where chips come from and how many you’re getting.Added a short fly-in animation for symbols granted by statuses. Previously, they just appeared on the board, which made it hard to understand where they came from.LocalizationAdded Japanese: full Japanese story translation, AI-translated UI/system text.Bug FixesFixed several symbols that were behaving incorrectly. After a spin, the quest UI could start flickering. This should no longer happen.Clicking the Deck or Discard could fail to show their contents. They should now op…
- Demo Patch Notes v0.87 - 27 March 2026
This update is mostly art (finally) and audio, plus a nice chunk of UI/flow fixes that came up in recent feedback.Art / VisualsAll full-size characters in Volume 1 have been replaced with hand-drawn versions. All chibi characters have been replaced with hand-drawn versions as well. AudioAdded voice-over and sfx for the intro comic (first pass). The narration was recorded by Harvey Quezada (Professional Voice Actor).Bug FixesIf a charge was gained from using a skill, a follower couldn't be add imediatly, only after a spin. This should now be fixed, and followers should add normally. The progression bar failed to update after using skills. The bar should now refresh correctly after skill use.Sometimes, the "+" button could appear on top of an already existing item slot. This should now be fixed. When selecting symbols via an item activation, the game field could fail to update visually. The…
- Demo Patch Notes v0.85 - 13 March 2026
This time, we were mostly focused on new content and art that isn’t in the demo yet. Still, we managed to squeeze in a few fixes based on your reports:Bug FixesWhen playing Mage, some skills (Arcane Swap / Arcane Lock) didn’t grant the expected +1 Warfare on use. They now do, so all Mage skills should consistently give one Warfare point.During a replay, the game could behave as if two extra spins had happened, which then caused weird side effects (one visible symptom was the Field counter showing something like -2). This underlying spin counting issue should now be fixed. Some symbols were missing counters or not showing all of them (for example, Hive showed only one counter instead of two). Symbols should now display all required counters correctly.
- Demo Patch Notes v0.84 - 6 March 2026
We’re continuing to clean up UI clarity and a handful of bugs that could mess with runs. Here’s what changed in v0.84.Gameplay / ProgressionYou can no longer end up with more than 3 different skills.Art / VisualsAdded icons to the level completion screen.Added icons to attribute descriptions.Improved the visibility of the “+” button in the character sheet. The Field symbol should now display its counter correctly.Bug FixesArcane Missile could not be used on uncommon monsters. This should now be fixed, and it should target them properly. In cards/tooltips, hyperlinked keywords were not highlighted, so they appeared as normal text. They should now highlight correctly. Using Soul Points to increase HP could increase only Max HP without updating your current HP properly. This should now behave correctly. The Cave card could display incorrectly. It should now show properly. After each run, Soul…

We’re still iterating fast, and this update is mostly UI polish plus fixes for a set of recurring issues.Gameplay / ProgressionAt levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20, the level-up pop-up will now always include at least one active skill option.Art / VisualsImproved the visuals of the level completion screen.Improved the visuals of the reincarnation screen.Updated the icon for the Skeleton Key symbol. Bug FixesIn the shop screen, symbols could start going off-screen inside the Delete Symbols pop-up. This should now be fixed. Some players were seeing a strange blur on the edges of the screen. This should now be fixed. After reaching level 11, the profile sheet could stop opening. This should now be fixed. On the Random Run map, the displayed stats and character level could be incorrect. The map should now show the correct values. If you d…

Demo Patch Notes v0.81Thanks again to everyone playing the demo and sending feedback. We’re still actively polishing things, and your notes are really helpful. Here’s what’s new in v0.81.ComicReplaced the AI-assisted intro comic with a human-drawn version. It’s not the final-final yet, but it’s real art now, and we’ll keep polishing it over time.LocalizationAdded support for AI-assisted partial translations in:Portuguese (Brazil)GermanIndonesianPolishFrenchSpanish (Spain) For these languages, Volume 1 of the story is translated and proofread, while Random Run text is still in progress.Improved Russian localization for Volume 1 of the story.Bug FixesAcolyte / Chronist follower usage causing confusing full-board highlight. - Patch Notes v0.80 - 12 February 2026
Patch Notes v0.80Big thanks to everyone who played the demo and sent feedback. We read all of it, and this update is mostly about making the very start of the game calmer, clearer, and less “why is this happening to me?”Intro Comic / FlowReworked the comic flow. A bunch of players told us the intro felt like it was holding them hostage, especially on a first launch. Fair point. You can now skip the entire comic on first launch via a button in the top-right corner. We originally made it unskippable because we wanted to set the tone and explain what’s going on. But if you just want to play, you should be able to play. You can now advance comic panels with a mouse click. People read at very different speeds. Some want to take their time, some want to read fast, and some want to read everything without skipping a whole page. Clicking through panels felt like the simplest, everyone-wins option…
- Patch Notes v0.79 - 11 February 2026
Patch Notes v0.79Here's a big thank you to everyone who tried the demo and sent in feedback! We’ve gone through all your comments carefully, and this patch addresses some of the most common points that came up.General• Reduced the game's install size from 1.57 GB to 0.92 GB.• Fixed a bunch of small bugs.• Cleaned up various localization issues.Save System• Saves are now stored separately per Steam profile. (Previously, data could get mixed up when everything was saved on the same PC. That shouldn’t happen anymore, but if you run into other problems with the save system, please let us know!)UI / Clarity• Added an overload indicator for followers and items. (Several players mentioned they didn’t understand why they couldn’t spin all of a sudden - this should make things clearer.)• The comic now waits for player input, so you have more time to read.Gameplay• Reworked the final Random Mode…

- The Free Playtest for Re: Spin Die Repeat Starts Now! - 22 September 2025
Welcome, traveller, to your Isekai adventure! What? How did you end up here? An amusing question, for it seems the trope is real; you worked yourself to death, literally! But worry not, for you have another chance. When you next open your eyes, you will not be in your office, nor your bed, but in a different world. This world is ruled by a dark goddess, one created by a previous traveller, much like yourself, and now you need to save it.You won't be armed with swords and elemental magic, but instead, you have a slot machine. Unique as it may sound, this is a powerful artefact, for every spin will decide your survival, and your fate. The world of Re: Spin Die Repeat opens (change as needed: today / on the 22nd of September) and there you will find: 2 Story Volumes: With about 70 minutes of quests and narration 1 Random Scenario: With plenty of replayable chaos 80 Symbols: Collect and Spin…
