Short description
Dreadveil is an atmospheric horror shooter where you desperately scavenge for resources while avoiding terrible monsters. Balance scarce resources to solve one of many issues. Make short-term decisions to solve a more pressing problem which will then come back and bite you in the future.

SLOW PACED ATMOSPHERIC HORROR Explore decrepit cities, claustrophobic caves, forests and even the wastelands of Antarctica. Avoid and hide from the unnatural monsters around you. Listen for the footsteps and wheezing through doors, while limping to the next drawer or cabinet, hoping to find anything to help you. BALANCE RESOURCES FOR THE SHORT- AND LONG-TERM Manage what little supplies you find to push problems into the future while making tough short-term sacrifices to solve more pressing issues. Spend time to cook a can of meat into more nutritional value or medicate your terminal illness? Leave behind a vital crafting component for some bandages to patch up a bleeding wound? There is never enough options to solve everything, be careful and stay hidden from the terrible monstrosities that now skulk this world. PERMA-DEATH MECHANICS AND RANDOMIZATION Dreadveil features randomized environments with handmade rooms and assets. The slow-paced horror mixed with the nervousness of losing your progress when dying creates a tense, sometimes panicked experience when things go wrong. Something spots you, doors swing open, gunshots and screaming monsters.
