• Minor patch 1.0.1 - 9 January 2025

  This minor patch makes adjustments to the following: Advanced resource buildings - minor increase to resources generated. T1 Turrets - Some, not all, turrets saw a damage increase. T2 Turrets - minor increase to damage dealt, slight reduction in resource cost. T3 Turrets - A slightly greater damage increase, and a slightly greater resource cost reduction. I will continue to monitor achievement attention rates and update the game accordingly. If needed, the next update would be a change to allow more buildable terrain in the Rocky Hills maps. The Desert maps are in a good place and the Alien maps are much more forgiving and act as a safe starting point for players. The Alien may see a terrain difficulty increase, if anything. • Steam Deck & Steam Cloud Ready! - 19 December 2024

  I am proud to announce that Ad Astra: Sci-Fi Tower Defense will support both Steam Deck & Steam Cloud saves on release! Steam Deck: You will need to bump the graphics settings to "Low" to maximize performance, but the game is certainly playable on Steam Deck, without Proton or compatibility settings needed! You will find a custom button layout template available for download but I have outlined the key buttons below in case you wish to make your own setup.
