• TAMBOURINE, our new game! - 24 April 2026

  We just published the steam page for our new game, TAMBOURINE! A first-person survival horror about a priestess hired to exorcize an abandoned apartment building with a tambourine.We're really excited to finally be able to showcase it and we'll have more news about it real soon.   Added missing collider in Carcosa.Fixed minutes being added randomly upon entering certain areas.Reduced main menu music and sfx volumes.Wily's mask-crafting cutscene is now skipped automatically if the player has already seen it.Added secret in-game achievement that displays over your save slot if the player has parried the only two parryable things in the game. If you already did it, we're sorry but there's no way for us to backport that data :(

• Patch 1.0.13 - DISCOPUP in Spanish! - 2 December 2025

  DISCOPUP is finally available in Spanish! You should be able to select language when launching the game for the first time or through the "language" menu at the start.Disabled and simplified various visual effects when photosensitive mode is enabled.Added sprint toggle option to demo, in controls menu.Added hold input mode (alternative to mashing) in controls menu for the key throwing minigame in the demo.

• Patch 1.0.12 - Finally on Mac! - 7 November 2025

  DISCOPUP is now available on Mac! Many people were asking for a Mac port in our social media and it finally became a reality. Took a bit longer than expected since we didn't have a computer with MacOS until recently, but we hope that the wait was worth it. We've also updated the game with some minor fixes and changes:Fixed Cerberus blocking the entrance to Carcosa if you talked to him from the right.Added brightness option in accessibility menu.Added sprint option in controls menu (now you may choose between holding to sprint or toggling).Fixed bug where resolution would automatically change to 4K when entering visuals menu without being reflected in the option’s dropdown list.

• Patch 1.0.11 - 8 October 2025

  - Fixed Granny Howlkins' timer breaking the game after exiting Carcosa.- Performance improvements in most areas.- Fixed photosensitivity warning bug.

• Patch 1.0.10 - 3 October 2025

  - Several memory-related performance improvements. This should fix some of the crashes some players were experiencing while also improving general performance. Please, let us know if you have any further issues. - Added "read" button when inspecting image-based interactables, which displays plain text with the relevant information over the image. - Minor bug fixes. We're also working on a localization system to allow for the game to be translated into other languages. The first translation will be into Spanish, but we're planning to add more languages in the near future. Stay tuned!

• Patch 1.0.8 - Steam Deck Verified! And accessibility options - 10 September 2025

  DISCOPUP is finally Steam Deck verified! And with said verification comes a much-awaited update we were working on after listening to the community's feedback. - Added photosensitive accessibility option which disable and reduce flashing lights in the game. IMPORTANT: if you suffer from photosensitive epilepsy and still experience discomfort and/or seizures during the game, please let us know the details as soon as possible so that we may patch it. - Added single key keyboard controls for the saxophone, which allows the player to play each note by pressing a single number key (no WASD nor P). For players whose keyboards may have issues pressing several keys at once. - Fixed "goosegumps" typo in letter from the suburbs. - Fixed bug where refusing to give the ring to the Granny two loops in a row would softlock the game after the timer ran out. Feel free to let us know any further issues…

  - Fixed bug where the player would get stuck after watching cutscene in VIP room. - Made music note sprite slightly thicker so that saxophone HUD displays correctly in 16:10 resolution. - Fixed in-game menu changing input when entering curtains. - Read dialogue can now be skipped faster. - Fixed game state related bugs. - Fixed resolution drop down menu remaining open after selecting resolution. - In-game menu and inventory can no longer be opened when performing an equipped action. - Other minor fixes and changes.

  - Made Master of Disguise achievement easier to get. Entering DiscoPup with two completely different outfits in a row (hat, mask and suit) should unlock the achievement. - Player now faces camera when opening pause menu, similarly to when opening inventory. - Player may now jump over the handrails in the alleyway to avoid getting stuck by Sir Osis' PR. - Fixed super secret special Sir Osis' PR not taking time from the player. - Reeds rock-paper-scissors minigame is now automatically skipped after beating him once. - Fixed Bunny Chase achievement (it was possible to get it with a suboptimal time). Sorry folks, we made it harder. - Fixed in-game menu breaking general game and camera states when pressing a specific combination of inputs. - You can now zoom in closer and faster when inspecting 2D objects.
