The second Beta Test for Wyld Land launched just a few days ago! Click here to view the new additions to the game. Since then, we have been focused on fixing issues and increasing stability for the test.The switch to our new engine had a few issues. Welcome to Wyld Land Beta 2! We're so excited to welcome you back to the Wyld. Note that as before, there will not be a data wipe until the end of the Beta period, and we will have at least one more Beta test after this one. Let's start with the major additions and then we'll cover the smaller changes. New Engine First off, we're rolling out our brand-new client engine for the game, which is based on Heaps.This engine is built from the ground-up to be lighter and faster so you should see even better performance as well as faster load times. For example, if you're playing in your web browser, the initial download size to get to the login screen has gone down from 14MB to about 2MB! Note that with the new engine in place, you will need to re-bind any keys that you have changed from the default! Hello Runners! The second beta test for Wyld Land will go live on June 27th and the game will run until July 11th! The beta test will be available here on Steam and in your browser through our website. This is an open beta test, so everyone is welcome to join! Thank you to everyone who joined in on our first beta test. We received a lot of positive feedback and reports for bugs. Since that previous beta test, we have been focusing on developing a new engine to reduce the amount of networking bugs alongside developing a ton of new content. We will not be wiping data for this test, so if you played during the last beta test, you will be able to continue from where you left off with your account. Hello Runners! Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Open Beta Test! We had over 3,000 players join in during the first week alone, and it was great getting to play alongside many of you! It was fun watching new players discover the game and seeing the hardest content we've created cleared by veterans- that just means we'll need to keep adding to the challenge! This Open Beta Test (and Steam Demo) will go down on Monday, March 31st at 12 PM CST. We have gotten a lot of great feedback from players, and we feel now is a good time to take things offline so we can focus on our engine, fixing bugs, and adding to new content to the game.
