• Progress Update: for Version 1.3.0 - 5 May 2025

  Since we have been too silent about the updates, we are here to show you stuffs we are currently working on! New Mode! An entirely new mode Line Score Challenge is under development! This mode does not have any time limitation, but instead, you race to the target "Line Score", which you can get by completing multiple lines at once. Here's what it looks like now: Difficulty Selection The current difficulty curve is such that difficult-to-place pieces start appearing as the level goes up (or the level is fixed depending on the mode). However, we have found that pentominos, which are pieces consisting of 5 blocks, are disproportionately difficult to drop and fill the board. To address this issue, we're working on changing what pentominos are allowed to spawn by adding a 'difficulty' feature! This means that the leaderboard will be split into multiple difficulties. • Version 1.2.0 Patch Notes - 10 March 2025

  We appreciate your patience!! Drop 'n' Fill! Version 1.2.0 is now live! Here are what this update mainly covers: Achievements! Achievements are now available for you to unlock! Try clearing lines, get better grades in Timed Mode... Try various things! (Please note that some of the achievements shown on the store page are still under development and are not unlockable. This is due to a technical limitation. Please sit tight for more achievements to come!) Updated the Groove! We completely borked the groove in 1.1.0... That's why we updated our sound system to the latest shiny version! Not only the BGM issue should be gone now, but also your input will produce subtle changes to the BGM. Try placing blocks, and clearing lines, and hear them for yourself!!

• About the next update - 9 March 2025

  We're sorry to announce that the update that was coming this week has to be pushed back a bit. We hit an unforeseen game development issue that surfaced only when we attempted to create an executable file. The root cause is likely determined and we're working hard to fix it, so please sit tight for the achievements and improvements to the audio experience!!

• Achievements are on the way! - 23 February 2025

  We are implementing the Steam achievements! These will be unlockable in the next update, although they might appear 'locked' in your profile already as secret achievements (unfortunately, we don't fully know how our changes would look to you). We wanted to release the achievements as soon as it is available for unlock, but due to technical limitations, we're performing a partial update like this. Sorry for the confusion this may cause, and please stay tuned for the next update!
