• The Second Playtest Has Ended - 14 July 2026

  The TactiCon Playtest has ended and signs are looking great! 808 people have enlisted, and over 360 have actually stepped onto the battlefield to help me shape the game. Over 5600 people have also wishlisted the game now! Thank you, it means a lot to me! I'm happy to see that some of the changes have worked – for example, there were fewer complaints about the hospital evacuation mechanic – while others still need a bit more clarity. One example is that players can reveal more information about the battlefield and all UI elements by holding down the mouse button anywhere outside the map. A fact that remained omitted to many of you. The feedback was very positive, and the average overall impression is even higher than last time: 4.65/5 (93% positive). That's great to see!   Attention Unit! To celebrate our participation in TactiCon 2026 an updated playtest is launching today! After the first public playtest, I received dozens of messages, suggestions, and valuable feedback from players around the world. Your thoughts helped improve MEDIX – and now I'd like to invite new players to take up the Oath and prove their skills on the battlefield in service of the Empire. This updated version features the same campaign scope as the first playtest – with the focus of changes being mainly on pacing, difficulty, and many quality-of-life improvements.   Playtest is over – thank you! ❤️ Listen up, unit! The public playtest of MEDIX has just come to an end, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to play the game, share feedback, or even just wishlist it. Seeing people actually play MEDIX for the first time has been incredibly valuable (and honestly a bit surreal). A few numbers from the playtest ♦ ~770 players requested access ♦ ~350 of you jumped in and played ♦ 80+ detailed feedback responses (that's lot!)   The first ever public playtest of MEDIX is now live on Steam! You can join by clicking the Join the Playtest button in the store page! The Public Playtest includes approximately 40 minutes of gameplay and features the first two missions of the story campaign, introducing the game’s core mechanics and emotional tone. I’m excited to share that a public playtest for MEDIX will be available starting April 20 on Steam, running for the duration of the Medieval Games Festival.This will be a chance to try out a portion of the game and experience how it plays ahead of release.
